Unusual especially because WOLFMAN & MOUNT show a side of their surely complex character, up to then unknown to the scene: Modesty. As they suggested themselves in this very editorial, we have not only bothered loading 42 (we guess this was the Norwegian mag you meant?) first, we also did so... Well, to be honest it was the right decision. So modesty fits for them. They excuse themselves and the other main-/co-/irregular-/orwhatever- editors for the release of this new issue. We here at the MARVELLOUS(!) LUNATICS BALL want to bring it to the point: It was about time, Wolfie & Mountie! Much too long, you and the other downstreaming UPSTREAMers have infiltrated the scene in all areas by your filthy words! We love to see that finally, reason has come to your minds and you have recognised that normally, there is no place for UPSTREAM. Well, there shall be a niche for everyone in life (we doubt it, but it is told so), therefore we from the MARVELLOUS(!) LUNATICS BALL-"Comitee Against Unworthy Press-Releases" have decided to give you one further chance. ¶In certain articles, we have criticised the way of journalism, the UPSTREAM-staff was behind and reactions proved us right. Even Wolfie, Mountie and company seem to have realized this fact in the end. It should be time for the obligatory handshaking now, so - Wolfie & Mountie - give us your paws mentally, your excuse shall hereby be accepted. We won't mention your illfating in things of taste, radicalism and takt. No word about lusting for sensation and dragging other peoples name in the dirt. No syllable anymore about fillers and standard stuff by bragging to be the best magazine. Everything is excused, from now on, we will transpirate to tolerate your words. Shall nobody come to tell us we ain't nice! Well, now that we are friends... Maybe we could simply talk about the contents of the latest issue? I mean, we won't criticise! Nono... Just some remarks. For example the moaning about how hard and unfair it is to act against the leader of S!P... Don't get us wrong, but wasn't this the reason for all of this? To make the other members of that group understand that there is something going on in their rows that they have to act against themselves? Maybe by leaving or even kicking out the "poor" Nazi? Ah, don't be upset! It's just a question - no criticism. We're friends by now, ain't we? We don't want to hurt you, we have accepted your undoubtfully seriously meant apology. I mean, I really can't be pitty for S!P regarding that they ¶have accepted a major Nazi as leader (the title itself scares me here in this context), but - maybe you are right. It's just opinion. No criticism, really! Maybe it isn't so bad afterall to see ones own groups name in direct combination with the Swastika? It could be something to discuss - between good friends, that we are by now. Moreover, Mountie, we totally agree with you that it is very important and interesting to publish that some VDians had a stay for a night in a Danish kindergarden. No irony here! Trust us. Please don't think, Wolfie, that we found your article about your consume of hashish somewhat ridiculous! It's just that we ourselves would have never released such cra... cr... curious piece of writing. I mean, who is in the end interested in the fact that you smoke and how much you smoke? We, of course! We are friends by now and so we really think it is important for to now that hashish is in your opinion legitimate and maybe even important. Well, maybe (just maybe) we wouldn't have given names of sceners who smoke themselves as this COULD be mistaken as infantile ("They are doing it, so I want it too!"), but that's your free choice and we won't mock, really! We have absolutely no feeling that you released this one to say that you are a baaaad boy, no way! We can hardly see the importance behind that piece of writing, but as you wrote it, there must have been a deeper meaning, so... It's really no criticism. You can believe us! We would never even dare to tell you that more than 50% of the people we know use hashish regularily to relax. We havn't got the feeling that it was as interesting to read that you smoke Ganija as it would be to hear that UYANIK (ex-ZINKFLOID)/TRSI drinks alcohol! Friends would never criticise eachothers... Again, Mountie, we find it AMAZINGLY amusing to read about the fictous noble deeds from the DISNEY BAND (very) LIMITED! Also, your long review section, that contains One mega-article about your judging-system, one short review and another mega-article about which group wants to release what production when - but wouldn't it been much more innovating to give reasons why they won't manage it to produce those releases in the end? Oh, no, that wasn't criticism! Just an idea which suddenly flew to my mind. We can talk about it if you want, real Friends may talk about everything. We guess, you see now that we absolutely are on your side, ever awilled to help you, whenever unjustified criticism should come your way. Wolfie, old mate, take your friends from the UPSTREAM-staff and tell them, we love what you are doing. We love UPSTREAM it really is worth to be released. Your apology is accepted - everyone has the right to make mistakes.
