¹The  war between AMIGA and PC has been
raging  for many years now and it only
got  worse  after  the  fall of ATARI.
Now don't think im stupid or something
just  becoz  i  said the FALL of ATARI
becoz...  really!  the atari is by all
means  a  dead  computer  by  now  and
should   not   be   involved  in  this
discussion.   Well...  the most common
thing to argue about between AMIGA and
PC owners is (ofcourse!) wich computer
that  rules  the  earth.   Or wich one
that  has  the  best games and graphix
and  sound  and  so on.  If you take a
close   look  at  a  PC  game,  you'll
probably  find that comparing it to an
AMIGA game would be a waste of time...
the  PC game is just that much BETTER!
After comparing the two computers like
that,  the  poor  little  soon-to-be-a
-fooled-and-poor-guy  hurries  away to
buy the computer of his dreams...  the
PC  -  486!   This  is  where  it gets
interesting.   When  he  gets home and
starts  unpacking his dear PC, he will
soon find out that all his dream games
requires               8-fucking-mega-
bytes-of-memory                    and
at-least-a-33-mhz-processor   PLUS!...
a   super   vga  graphix  card  and  a
soundblaster  pro!   Now  that  is the
difference  between  AMIGA and PC.  To
run an AMIGA game you just have to buy
a  JOYSTICK  and  sometimes  not  even
THAT!   Ok!   so  now  you are sitting
there  telling  this  file  to die and
burn  in  hell  and  things  like that
becoz  you KNOW that the PC has better
graphix  and  is  much  faster.   Hmmm
¶where did i go wrong...  oops, look at
that  price tag!  The PC will probably
cost  around  7-8  times more than the
AMIGA,  and  thats  becoz  of  all the
extra  equipment!  Let me take it this
way.  If you equipped an AMIGA for the
same  ammount  of  cash that you would
lay  down  on  the  PC,  you  would be
sitting   with   a   super-  computer!
THAT'S  NO  LIE!   You'll find out.  I
will now state an example.  Microcosm.
On  the  AMIGA  CD-32 it runs terribly
smooth...  a real surprise if you have
in  mind  that  it only runs on 2-MEGS
and  a 14,7 Mhz processor!  Now take a
look   at  microcosm  on  the  PC,  it
requires  8-MEGS  of ram, a DUAL-SPEED
CD-drive   and   AT  LEAST  a  33  Mhz
processor!   Still...  it looks TACKY!
Ok!   so  now you say -'Then how about
ordinary   games,   action  games  and
fighting  games on the PC?'.  Well, as
a  matter  of  fact they really REALLY
SUXX...   BIGTIME!  Actually so is the
fact  for  almost all demos on the PC.
You  see...   the  PC  has'nt  got any
BLITTER,  and  that's what make action
games on the AMIGA simply look BETTER!
They  scroll  much more smoothly.  And
they  dont  require monster tech-specs
from   your   computer.Next  question:
'Then  why  ain't it comi'n games like
DOOM  for  the  AMIGA?'.  answer:  The
Publishers of the games can't possibly
make   a   game  for  the  AMIGA  that
requires  8-MEGS  of  ram,  a  33  Mhz
processor  and  a  BIG wallet!  That's
becoz  HOTTED AMIGA's is far more rare
than HOTTED PC's, and nobody want's to
force  an  AMIGA  user  to  empty  his
pockets AND all his bank accounts just
to  be  able  to  play  his  favourite
games!   Enough  of  games, let's talk
about working with the two computers!
¶THE  AMIGA RULES AND THE PC SUXX!  Ok!
so i was kidding around but seriously,
the  DOS  enviroment  on the PC really
saw  it's  better  days  in  the early
eighties!   And WINDOWS can't possibly
be  compared to WORKBENCH.  Windows is
just   too   tricky  and  slow  to  be
pleasant working with.  And it's those
little  extra  mouse  clicks  required
that  makes it feel old and since long
forgotten.   On the other hand, the PC
get   almost   all   the  goodie  word
processors  on the market and it has a
very VERY wide ammount of programs for
your  office.   When into working with
graphix,  there  is  nothing  to  talk
about...  the AMIGA rules SUPREME!  So
if   your  up  to  working  with  your
computer...   only  buy a PC if you're
running  a  BIG  company  or something
becoz  common users wont notice such a
big   difference   between   the  word
processors.  And then again, the AMIGA
is   much   CHEAPER.    Here   is   my
advice's...

²1:¾   If  you're rich and want to buy a
computer for gaming, buy a PC.

²2: ¾  If  you  like  action  games  and
smooth  scrolling  and  if you like to
KEEP your money, buy an AMIGA.

²3:  ¾ If You don't care about money and
want a computer to write on, buy a PC.

²4:  ¾ If  you  want  a computer to work
with   graphix  on,  or  working  with
generally, buy an AMIGA.

²5:   ¾ If   you're   a   beginner  with
computers, buy an AMIGA.¹
