Hiya Guyz and Girls...

	This is probably going to be the final release of my IceTracker.

	Before I go on with the features (and bugs...) I just want to say a
few words to all the friends I've made on the amiga scene the past 3.5 years.

	Thanks, all of you.  You made it all worthwhile, and I will keep the
memories with me forever.

	Unknown/D.O.C., who inspired me to start coding with his 'DOC Demon'
demo... Probably the very first REAL demo (well, that I ever saw). You further
went on to impress me with improvments to Karsten's 'Ultimate SoundTracker'.
If it wasn't for you and Dr. Mabuse and the rest of the team, I probably never
would have even bought an amiga in the first place.

	MnemoTron and the rest of the REAL SpreadPoint team.  Your work on
SoundTracker's 2.1 through 2.6 was the basis of mine.  I have you to thank for
implementing the first standard of 'sub-patterning'. Your ideas were great and
your code was even better.  (I still await to see your work on the PC, I saw
your handiwork on the WOW modplayer... Will I see more ?)  Depeche, your code
was probably some of the best I have ever seen on amiga. Budha, your work like
Cube-o-matic was impressive, if not ground breaking.  Your up there with the
best.  Munster, I lost contact to you a long time ago, but I don't forget my
friends.

	Exolon/Fairlight, Strider tells me you still have your original a1000.
I hope to see you on the PC as well, your work to on AudioSculpture and the
StarTrekker's gave me many ideas for impovments on my IceTracker. I hope we'll
speak again soon.  Strider, reply to my fax(es)... hehe!  I hope to speak to
you again soon.  Were on a good thing, so lets stick to it!  

	Mahoney & Kaktus, you guys may never read this, but someone may tell
you, so all I want to say is 'Thank you for everything'.  Your collective
works kept me amused for hours, and you work on NoiseTracker gave us the PLST
function and Quantising/MIDI etc.

	The rest of the guys who wrote or added/debugged SoundTracker and made
it the defacto standard it is today.  Anyone who uses your replays or writes
music is in debt to you for your work.

	Cryptoburners, I have had a look at your ProTracker.  It's a good idea
and I hope you take it far.  But please, if you haven't the ability to code
sub-patterning into your program, do not say 'it's usless, or no one wants it'
as that simply isn't true!  I had over 30 letters from musicians telling me
it was a great idea.  If you require source, I will give it to you.  All you
have to do is ask.  Call my board, I'd be glad that someone keeps the Tracker
series going.  Your work on the AGA versions is excellent, but why not use
(as I did) 512 high display?  I think the AGA has a built-in flicker fixer
so I'd assume a larger editing area would be of more use?  Anyway, your work
too is very impressive and gave me many ideas, but sadly I have little time
left for coding and the amiga, so I hope you can implement them in yours.

	All the musicians who used this and other Trackers, you made it all
more worthwhile, as I knew that someone was using them and a demand was in
place for it.  Jester/Sanity, Melodee/Shining, Tip & Mantronix, Romeo Knight,
Blackstar & Gladiator/Cryptoburners, Uncle Tom, and the rest I can't remeber,
all your music was some of the best I've heard.

	As for the features in this release, they are:

	Sliders on the PLST (Which helps because...)
	PLST extended to 32,768 samples (I have gigabtes of samples.)
	Sub-Pattern position editor.
	Lo-Res (320x256) and Hi-Res (320x512) versions.
	Improved Multi-Tasking
	
	The only other bug (again, only in the Hi-Res version) is when you are
changing from the IceTracker screen to the WB screen (either with the gadget
for Load/Saving, Back to WB gadget or the Left-Amiga + 'S' combination) that
the interlace screen may be in the wrong order (ie: Even then Odd) there is a 
quick 'fix' which is just if you see the screen is wrong, press the hotkey
(Left-Amiga + 'S') to switch back to IT1.2 then again to go back to the WB and
that will usually fix it, if not, repeat until it does. I didn't have the time
to find a fix for it.

	Other than that, the tracker is stable as far as I can tell.  I hope
someone finds a use for some of the new features in it.
