DISCLAIMER
----------

THE USER OF THIS PROGRAM DOES SO AT THEIR OWN RISK. ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO
SOFTWARE, HARDWARE, PROPERTY OR PERSONS SUFFERED WHILE USING THIS PROGRAM IS
THEIR OWN RESPONSIBILITY AND IS TOTALLY UNACCOUNTABLE TO THE AUTHOR, OR
ANYONE RELATED TO THE AUTHOR. SO HELP ME GOD!

Compatability
-------------

As I only have one Amiga and one printer I have absolute no idea how
compatability ADP is! However the program should run on any Amiga capable of
running AMOS. Printer wise it's a bit tricker. At worst it'll only work with
a Star LC200 printer. It may or should work on any Star printer? And it
might work on any Epson compatable printer, I just can't guarantee anything!
Feedback in this department will be very welcome.

Please ensure that you use the correct printer driver for your printer.

Copying to other disks
----------------------

In order to make ADP run on another disk the following files/directories are
required:

                  1: ADP & icon (obviously!)

                  2: Directory named - Addresses

                  3: The file named - copyright_sprite.abk

                  4: The file named - Title.IFF

                  5: Port-Handler in the l/ directory

                  6: printer.device in the devs/ directory

7: The appropriate printer driver for your
                     printer in the devs/printers directory

History
-------

ADP was the resolution to a problem I had. Basically I found it a hassle to
keep changing the set-up on my word processor just to print an address label.
So with my copy of AMOS in hand I set to work on AddressPrint V1.0 (never
released).

V1.0 Loadfile, Createfile, Printfile and Redofile (once loaded). Very
basic but done the job (Ooeer!).

V1.3 The same as V1.0 except that it let you know it was printing.

V2.0 Better user interface, looked nicer, this was the finished
      product less the printer options.

V2.1 All singing all dancing version with Printer options. Wow!!!
      The first released version.

                            ---------------------

Instructions
------------

You should not really need these but there here all the same:

Load File
---------

Eeeeer? Oh yeah you load a file with this one via
         a file requester.

Create File
-----------

Well this is where you type in the all important addresses.
         Max of five lines. eg.

                            Name: Paul Lathwell
                         Address: 3 Sweetbriar Close
                         Address: Gadebridge
                         Address: Hemel Hempstead
                         Address: Herts HP1 3PA.

Delete File
-----------

Come on do you really need to ask!

Redo File
---------

Only selectable with a file in memory. This is an amend
facility the whole file needs to be re-typed except the
         file name.

Print File
----------

         Print the file in memory.

Printer Options
---------------

         The defaults here are:

Colour: Black Font: Courier Style: Normal

To change the colour, font, and style simply click on the appropriate text
using the LMB.

Colours:

         Black (default)
         Red
         Blue
         Violet
Yellow (not advisable as you can't really see it on white)
         Orange
         Green

Fonts:

         Draft
         Courier (Default)
         Sanserif
         Script
         Orator

Styles:

         Normal (Default)
         Italics
         Bold

To return to the main program click (LMB) on the box that says 'RETURN' and
hey-presto your back! (clever eh?)

Printer Set-up
--------------

The only real requirement is to have your labels feed up the middle of
the printer and to have it connected, and switched on of course!

To exit from ADP just press th ESC key at any time except during printing or
on the Printer Options screen. This will have no effect...
