To make this possible it includes some of the best Public Domain/Shareware/Freeware Virus Killers available at this time. At first I did a complete disk called S.O.S. Why a Virus killer disk ? Well the truth is a while ago now I was around at somebodys house who was having trouble with Viruses so they asked me to come round to help. The Conversation went abit like this ...... Q. What Virus Killer are you useing ? A. Disk Doctor. Q. I've not heard of that lets have a look. A. Here it is on our Workbench Disk. Reply. Holy S**T no wonder all your games are busted. These poor people had been useing the CLI command DiskDoctor from there Workbench disks.No Wonder all of there games where broke/Corrupt. DO NOT USE DISKDOCTOR IT IS NOT A KILLER IT WILL RUIN ANY GAME YOU USE IT ON. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED !!! This disk should be able to handle most types of virus around at the moment and keep your disks clear. I have written some Docs in the HELP drawer of this disk, which I have tried to keep nice and simple to enable most of you to understand. If you find yourself confused by all of it then don't worry about it, but I cannot help you any more as there is no other way of putting it down to make it understandable. You will also find LvR V1.50 on this disk which I have given an icon to allow you to check your disks through the Workbench enviroment. You may notice that once finished checking an error 15 is reported before the XICON window closes but I don't think its anything to worry about I think its something to do with XICON being used. There is also on this disk a couple of Bootblocks saved that give you a message that all is clear once the disk is booting up. Handy but I don't like them as VirusX doesn't like them. You can use these Bootblocks with Zero Virus 3 on this disk. I may also on future disks include new brainfiles or saved Bootblocks to use with Zero Virus to keep you upto date. You will also ( if your good ) get some more Virus help files, mainly for Bootblock Viruses as there was not enough room on this disk to put them on. Hope you like the little pic at the beginning of the disk it might make you think that the AMIGA was loading in Workbench off a floppy faster than from a HARD DRIVE. It might have impressed you at first but it acts as a sacrifice for any link Virus.ie its one of the first commands in the Startup-sequence so it would be infected but it does not matter if this was infected as it is not important.
