Magnum Pro
Wai Hung
£3.99
Disk no. F1001
--------------
Most people will remember the highly acclaimed P.D version of Magnum V1.7
which received a 93% rating in C.U Amiga back in October 1993.
Magnum Pro is original, and the idea behind it is very popular, to create a
disk magazine. And now with the Amos source code included Magnum Pro can be
transformed, allowing people to design their very OWN interface without using
the standard Magnum creator!

Here are the new features since the P.D versions up to V1.9:
o New fade in/out of text option in articles
o Improved presentation
o All music bugs now fixed
o Total configuration control as Source code supplied
o Various small interface bugs removed
o Now runs on all 1meg+ Amiga`s
o Complete on disk documentation

o Very easy to use
o Useful for clubs, mini-multimedia presentations, disk magazines
o This will be the last ever version of Magnum in any form
o Exclusive to F1 Licenceware

What Magnum Pro can do:
Magnum Pro is more of an editable disk mag than a disk mag creator.
You can include your own ASCII text files and IFF pictures.
Tracker, MED or OctaMED modules can be played in the background.
The default user interface is similar to that used by Grapevine, Raw and
other popular disk magazines.
Magnum Pro can be used effectively by a novice or impressively by someone
with an bit of Amos programming knowledge. Erm you are looking at Magnum
Pro right now, AMOSZINE USES IT.

D.ODD
£4.99

DISK No. F1006

BlackBoard is an image proccessor written specifically for the AGA

following system requirements: 2 floppy drives (or a hard drive)
and a minimum 1 meg of memory.

The program is formed by a number of disk-based modules which are
run as required. This means that almost every aspect of the program can be
upgraded and improved without having to re-write the whole thing. It also
means that anyone can write their own add-on modules (e.g. Loaders,
Displayers, filters etc.) Providing they stick to certain guidelines.

Blackboard was previously released as Public Domain with very few features
and was reviewed and rated 88% by C.U.Amiga back in October 1993.
Blakboard has now been enormously upgraded and debugged and is only available
from F1 Licenceware.

If you have seen or played Monkey Island/Lure Of The Temptress etc. then you
already have a good idea of what this game is about.
It`s a mouse driven interactive adventure with great graphics, sound fx and
animations. Add to that brain numbing but logical puzzles, 64 colour
graphics, around 100 locations and a dangerously high addiction level and you
now have an even better idea. Relics is written by Lee Bamber, the author of
the highly rated game FORTRESS (see above) and he admits that RELICS far
exceeds anything else he has written before. P.D Demo version available.
I have been playing this game a lot over the last week and it`s HUGE.

IMPACT
Steve Pullinger
£3.99
Disk No.F1020
-------------
This is an original game, best described as a Demolition Derby Board Game,
if you know what I mean? No? I will explain then.
1 to 3 players can play, each controlling a car on the board, dice are thrown
to enable the distance you can move around the board (or track if you like)
the total distance you can move Depends on the condition of your car.
There are lots of power ups, good and bad to be collected on the way round
and the main idea is to smash up your opponents cars and get them into
situations where they will crash into each other or obstacles.
The sound FX and music are good and the gameplay is VERY addictive. One track
can take anything from 10 minutes to two hours. As I said it`s highly
original and great fun, I have never seen anything like it, great stuff.
