¾Do not your demos work on A1200?

¹Hi everybody. Now here is finally
some about the A1200.
I all the time hear people say -
"The demo did not work on my 1200"
or stuff like that. But is it cor-
rect.
I first where a little afraid of
all my demos as i bough my A1200,
but so i found out that the main
problem is only the memory.
You all remember when ya bough a
A500 once, and the games in the
stores had this label written req.
1 MB.
It is because you had 1/2 MB chip
and needed some Fast memory.
Now you have a just-as-bad A1200
with 2 MB chip. But demos coded
for Fastmem needs Fastmem and that
is the mainproblem for all of us.
So i sold my A500 and bough a few
ekstra memory chips. (Greets to
Heinz)
By doing that i could run more
than without Fastmem. But still a
problem is here. Some old demo etc
needs the memory not to be at
$200000 but $C00000 and that is
just what a PCMCIA card can give
us so it is also needed.
Anyway some lame coders can't make
their demos to locate the mem so
good, and therefor their work don't
work.

have the ekstra memory installed
then try to hold down your mouse-
buttoms as you reset, and you can
then try to Disable CPU catches or
set your chipset to Original or
Enchanged, you can ofcause also do
both.
And lot's of stuff will really be
able to run on your A1200.
If still some trouble is there so
you ofcause have a KickStart V1.3
somewhere. (I use the KickStart
V1.3 Disk by BadSector.)
And as I have no PCMCIA-card i can
not check the last, but the fuckup
of the computer can only be about
5 % of old demos you can't run. 
If you use these things stated in
this article.
So don't say your demo isn't A1200
compatible before you have checked
the memory on $200000 & C00000 as
it is not your problem people can
not afford to make their A1200 a
standard computer which is -
A1200, 2 MB Fast 32 bit and 2 MB
PCMCIA card. Higher than this is
ofcause also good but this is the
standard for normal computer.
So start to collect money for this
as you need it soon or later.
