¹  Be  true,  do you know CD&G CD´s?  
- No?  So read this article and learn
  what  you  didn´t  know till now. 
- Yes?  So read this article because
  I need your help.

First  some  words for those who don´t
know  what we are talking about.  CD&G
CD´s  are  music  CD´s  which  contain
additional  graphic  data beeing shown
on  a  TV  or  monitor  by  a  special
CD-player.Such a CD&G-player is a CDTV
or  any  AMIGA with a CD-ROM drive for
example.

But  you  shouldn´t  wait for a wonder
just  like a videoclip or high density
graphics with 24bit colours.  You have
to   consider   that  the  graphic  is
transferred  with 5KB per second.  But
you  can make some nice little things.
It is possible to show the text of the
actual  song, a digitalized picture of
the  interpret,  a  comic or just some
beautiful ( or ugly ) pictures.  There
are      very     much     application
possibilities for CD&G.  It seems very
comfort  for  Karaoke to show the text
of an instrumental version.

That  sounds very great, but you have
to  consider  that  there are not very
much  CD&G  CD´s  to  buy  or  you can
hardly make them out.  I know only two
CD&G CD´s:

On  the Fleetwood Mac CD are very nice
digitalized pictures of the band, from
films  (Frankenstein)  and  all of the
songtexts  to  read.   All  in  one  a
well-made  slideshow  fitting  to  the
music.   I  haven´t seen the Mozart CD
yet, so I cannot talk about it.

Two  CD´s are not so much aren´t they?
So  I need your help.  If you know the
titles  of some CD&G CD´s and where to
get  them please write a letter to me.
If  i  will  get enough letters i will
make  a  summary  of the CD´s on which
you have music and graphix.  This list
will  be publiciced in one of the next
parts  of  this  magazine.   With that
everyone  who  wants  more  than  only
listen  to music can read where to buy
it.
