Jurassic Park is in a state of chaos. Dinosaurs are running loose and the island is crawling with Biosyn employees who will try and stop any plans you have to re-open the park. They will gain any information they can to further their own knowledge on disonaur cloning You have to accomplish a series of missions to rid the island of Biosyn and get the island back on-line. LOADING Make sure the power to your Super NES is switched off. Insert the Game Pak and switch the power on. --CONTROLS-- Control Pad : Character Movement START Button : Pause Game SELECT Button : Initiate energy equalling Y Button : Shoot B Button : Jump X Button : Dodge L Button : Toggles through fatal weapons R Button : Toggles through disonaur weapons GAME MENU To select 1 or 2 players use the Up or DOWN keys on the control pad and press START to begin play. To select OPTIONS use the Up or DOWN keys on the control pad and press START to to change the default settings. The following options are available : --DIFFICULTY LEVEL-- There are 3 levels of difficulty - Easy, Normal and Hard --DEFINE KEYS-- If you are not happy with the default controls, you can change the set-up to your own preferences. --ENERGY EQUALLING-- 2 player game. Allows the player with the most energy to boost the other player's energy to the same level. --SOUND-- This game features Dolby Surround Sound. You will need to connect your Super NES control deck to a reciever equipped with Dolby Surround (refer to your Super NES Manual). Don't worry if you don't have Dolby Surround you can still enjoy the game in fabulous stereo sound. THE MISSIONS You have 6 missions to choose from and throughout the game emergency missions will arise which should be dealt with immediatly. To select a mission press the UP or DOWN keys on the control pad and Button Y to select. You will now have a mission briefing on the task ahead. Press the UP or DOWN keys on the control pad to scroll through the text. Press Button Y to accept the mission or Button B to abort. At the end of each mission you will be given the outcome via the console. Press Button Y to continue play. WEAPONS You are armed with a rifle and tazer with unlimited ammo. The tazer can be powered by holding down the SHOOT button and then releasing it. The longer you hold it down the more powerful the bolt. --YOU ALSO HAVE A CHOICE OF WEAPONS-- FATALLY WOUNDING WEAPONS - Used against the Biosyn Task Force. DINOSAUR SUBDUING WEAPONS - No effecy on humans. The dinosaurs are very expensive to clone, so you cannot kill them. You must subdue them, preserving the number of dino- saurs in the park (see stock level). STOCK LEVEL The stock level gives you a guide of the number of dinosaurs in the park. Killing dinosaurs will diminish your stock level, killing too many will close the park, ending the game. However the stock will rise as more dinosaurs are cloned by your labs. The Raptors and T-Rex are considered far too dangerous to be kept on the island. You have permission to destroy them and this will not affect your stock levels. PICK UPS AMMO : Select the weapon you wish to add the ammo to walk to and walk over the icon HEALTH : Pick up the icon to replenish your energy. POWER SUPPLIES : Pick up to use the powerless incubators. KEY CARD : Opens door to Biosyn Headquarters. DOORS/EXITS Jurassic Park is a non-linear game. You can move your character in and out of the screen as well as left and right. To exit the screen to the left or right, simply run your character off the edge of the screen. To move in or out of the screen, position your character in front of a door/exit and push up. In a 2 player game both characters must exit at the same time. HINTS AND TIPS Learn the attack patterns of the dinosaurs. Check your targets before you shoot - you may kill a dinosaur accidentally. Don't waste your ammo.
