Have you ever found a mailer which has everything you want? I don't think
so. This yet another attempt to create a mailer. I am not satisfied with
the mailers which are present for Amiga. Some use MUI (I hate it!), some
have the terrible tendency to crash often, some are shareware with much
limitations (e.g. a time limit) and high prices, some are very slow, some
have poor support for using the same POP account from office and home,
and others are not strong in the feature department.

Iris is a figure from Greek mythology. Besides, the word means "rainbow".
Iris is a messager of the gods. She comes down as a rainbow. This program
belongs in the divine company of Thor, Pegasus and Eudora, and therefore
this name was chosen.

* URL recognition now removes quotes at the end.
* New message list or text fonts are now applied immediately.
* Parsing of Date header in date (%d) and time (%t) improved (for quote
  header and date column).
* Date column added.
* BUGFIX: Tabs in header fields (mostly To) were not replaced for the
  "headers" file. This generated extraneous columns regarded as the date
  column.
* BUGFIX: Extremely long From, To or Subject fields caused trouble in the
  message list. Fixed by truncating them at 70 characters.
* The program starts much quicker now, by deferring the reading of all
  folders to get the last ID used. The network and compose processes start
  quicker too.
* New option "Rebuild" in new "List" menu to remove the email address
  in the list if a real name is present and to add the date. The new ARexx
  command "REBUILD" does the same thing.
* FixAspect (fixed the aspect ratio in BGUI 41.8) removed as 41.10 ignores
  it, making the popup buttons very wide.
* New ARexx script IrisShell.irx to send ARexx commands to Iris and see the
  results immediately. Useful for quickly determining the file name of a
  message, for example.
