I guess you wonder why your file based on the underhand workings of the Illegal side of the Amiga scene sparked a reply from an unrelated demo scene gfxer like myself? Well this precarious situation of the Amiga community is certainly causing a bit of disruption amongst sceners of all kinds now including myself. Based on rumour and Amiga related media it really seems that Crackers and Traders have been dubbed an unpopular breed and have rightfully been acused of causing, or at least helping the Amiga to an early grave. Personally I don`t care about cracks or any of this shit that gives you traders such pleasure, but it`s starting now to effect us all. With the amount of damage you lamers have done to the Amiga the VERY LEAST you can do is give your activities a limit for a while until the Amiga can find its feet. This idea of a 2 month ban on releases is perhaps the best idea to come from your side of the scene, it at least allows SOME profits to be made before you start spreading. Well JR What is the problem?!?? Why the hell should people spend weeks/Months/Years creating and releasing games for the Amiga when its not paying them anything. There are much more viable and simpler platforms to work with now, like the PC and PSX where game teams can make a fortune. Only dedicated programmers are bothering with the Amiga nowdays and even their patience is limited. What is it you give in return I don`t understand?? You take software from one BBS and put it on another right?? I would consider youre actions half redeemable if you dedicated some of YOUR OWN work back into the Amiga.
