How great are the graphics compared to other N64 games? How's the music? How's the sound effects/voice? How's the two-player mode? A: The graphics are unbelievable, easily surpassing both Mario 64 and PilotWings 64 in sheer beauty and fluidity. The music is pretty plain, some tunes are reminiscent of PilotWings (read: boring) but the sound effects rock, and the announcer is way cool. The two- player mode is a lot of fun too, and there is relatively no quality loss in the animation, etc. Q: How many courses in Wave Race 64 and how many jet skis are there? A: There are at least 7 courses, and there are four JetSkis. I prefer the chick. Q: Are there any weapons you can use against your human opponent or computer in Wave Race 64? How many racers are on the track at once? Finally, are there any jumps like I saw in the original Wave Race with the boats? A: There are no weapons, no, but you can try to knock your opponents off of their JetSkis by ramming into them. There are 4 racers on the track in total. Even though that may not seem like a lot of competition, the delicacy of the crafts (it's easy to fall off, moreso than say, falling out of a car or something) make four characters on the track seem to be just about right. If you do wipe out, you simply climb back up onto your JetSki and start moving again (this happens automatically.)
