(i.e. only London P.O.P.s) but can be used for any service provider if need be. (Read "OtherISP.readme" when installed) To sign up with Bogomip call 0800 137 536 and their helpful staff will tell you all about it.(this is a Freephone number) Their very cheap, I always get a line and have never lost a conection due to their end. Plus you get 1 meg free Web space. The point of this set is to provide an easy entry for new Net surfers and people like me who want to get on with the minmum of fuss and no need for programming knowledge. This set does not include IRC or TELNET but you can get them form Aminet once your up and running as well as changing the supplied App's when you are happy and confident. AmIRC, AmFTP and mNews are all good App's available form aminet. Read plenty of Amiga mag's for more info and reviews etc. equirements:- A MODEM "yes a modem or you could shout very load" OS 3.0 or above (have not tried lower and don't care anyway) 2mb ram minimum (4mb highly recomemded) Hard drive (about 3mb free) IF floppy only "HARD LUCK you dinosaur" 020 CPU or above (have not tested it on lower machine but may work) MUI 3.3 (for Voyager web browser) Available from all good PD libraries. Gif and Jpeg datatypes (included in this archive) ISP account (With dynamic IP address NOT DEMON all new ones have this) (Bogomip has this) Whats in it then:- 1) AmiTCP-4.0 demo (no installation and setup required) 2) Voyager v1.0 (Web,News,and Aminet FTP) (pre-set with Aminet sites, Amiga news groups and Amiga Web pages) 3) AirMail (E-mail) 4) ToolsDaemon (setup with net applications etc) 5) Dialer and logon script 6) UUdecoder 7) FastView Graphic file viewer (very fast) 8) ZGif and jfif datatypes 9) Extensive and easy documentation, setup pictures and help files. Any other bits you need can be got from Aminet. Installation:- If you got this on a disk follow steps 1) - 3). If you got this in one archive from say Aminet, go to step 3) 1) Drag the Net-set.install Icon to an empty drawer (best to make a new one somewhere) Do Not Copy To Ram as you will need to reboot a couple of times during the installation. 2) Now double click the Net-set.install Icon and let it do it's stuff. (when finished you should see: files extracted ok) 3) Now double click the Internet-set.Readme Icon for further instructions. (if you can't see any new Icons etc just choose Update from the tool bar) READ IT WELL and all will go with a swing (if you open it with Multiview or a text editor etc you can print it out) "Well if you got a printer".
