ALSO THE GAME IS NOT COMPLETE!READ IT NOW! @END_FILE_ID.DIZ We of GREat Effects Development have been informed that some bozo have put a lot of effort in cutting our great CD-ONLY game Kang Fu into 30+ DD disks and spread it around pirate bbsses. First of all, we like to say that we are glad WE didn't have to do it. :) Why someone wants to cut and downgrade such a big CD game to disk is a mystery.. But don't be fooled by anyone telling you you are playing the full game! The FULL game is ± 170 MB filled with levels, anims, pictures, sounds and more! Also there is ± 45 minutes of CD audio on the CD. Yes, Kang Fu is not like you are used to a disk game copied to CD. This is one of the biggest, perhaps the BIGGEST AMIGA game EVER! But what are we getting at here? What would be the point in downloading the downgraded pirate version ? Nothing, really. The price you are paying your phonecompany to download this interlocally (as most of you do!) is almost 20 HFL/DM at 28k8 ! This is just ridicoulous, supporting phonecompanies like the PTT who are making BILLIONS a year, while Amiga developers, distributors and shops are going out of business or are going PC due to the fact that some people rather pay for illegal software to their phonecompany than support a number of companies behind an Amiga distributor/shop who are still trying to support YOUR Amiga ! Just calculate it for yourself. Indeed, 50,- HFL/DM is more than the ±20,- HFL/DM you are paying your phone- company to download it. Still you are getting MORE for your 50,-. You are making the first move to get the Amiga back on track trough shops, developers and distributors. Kang Fu is great value for money! If you are not sure what to do, let us save you some money! Download the Kang Fu demo from our website WWW.GREED.NL at local tariff (as most of you do!) for ±25 cents, it's 'only' 6MB. If it is not your type of game, we have saved you around 20,- !! ;-) Also check out the upcoming july number of Amiga PLUS, the world's second largest Amiga magazine, they made Kang Fu game of the month! Nobody has to tell you that Amiga developers, distributors and shops are having a difficult time right now, increasingly difficult. The moment is coming very soon, if you like it or not, if you agree with it or not, that even Amiga hardware and accesoires are as hard to get as Specrum or C=64 stuff is right now. We know that some people, and some magazines are determined to paint a very different, positive picture of the Amiga and it's environment. It is not like that at all. Get up and take a new magazine, take one from a year ago and another one from 4 years ago. Now take a look at the variety of hardware, software and advertisements concerning the Amiga through the years. What is your conclusion? Right the Amiga has plumbed down in a dramatic way! Probably many of your older Amiga Magazines don't even exist anymore!
