REQUIREMENTS
 Any Amiga® (compatible) computer with at least OS3.5 and
 68020+ cpu.


DESCRIPTION
 This is yet another datatype that reads Amiga Icon (.info) files
 as a picture. It has been written for use with AmigaOS3.5 and above!
 
 By default the datatype loads the non-selected image. If you
 want to get the selected one, you need to create a env variable
 named "classes/datatypes/icon.datatype" with the contents "GETALT".
 This option also works when the icon doesn't have an alternate
 image, in this case it will be drawn highlited or shadowed (os3.5+).


INSTALLATION
 Just start the Install program. Please remove any other icon.datatype
 before you install this version!!!


HISTORY
 44.0	first public release
 44.1	requires at least pictdt v43 now (before v44) <Sven Ottemann>.
 44.2	???
 44.3	added an option to get the alternate image instead of the
 	normal one. The datatype also supports the v44 extensions
 	PDTA_WhichPicture and PDTA_GetNumPictures, now.
