If you don't have upgraded to os3.5 yet, you must have newicon.library installed to use this program. USAGE The program can only be started from a shell, the following options are provided: FROM/M/A,TO/K,TYPE/K FROM/M/A: source dir(s)/file(s). TO/K: path where to store the .info files. TYPE/K: type of icon to create (DISK,DRAWER,TOOL (default), PROJECT,GARBAGE). HISTORY 44.0 first public release. 44.1 added newicon.library support for os3.0/1 based systems. decoding of 2color icons didn't work and crashed the system, removed the bug without even knowing that it existed;) . 44.2 implemented transparency support (this requires that the icons don't use more than 255 colors). 44.3 the program can read/convert truecolor icons now. Thanks to Allan Nielsen for the icons. 44.4 replaced Bayer16 dithering code by floyd-steinberg dithering. if you had any problems using this program in conjuction with NewIcons, this version should fix the problem. 44.5 last time I made NewIcons work but broke os3.5 icon support;) CREDITS Olaf Barthel who wrote the dithering code this program uses.
