***************************************************************************** * PROGRAM-HISTORY FOR MULTI-TOP BY SieGeL (tRSi/F-iNNOVATiON) * ***************************************************************************** V0.01 (06-28-95) - Initial Version, a CLI-Tool which creates Top.. Bulls. Currently only the User-List option is working... (06-30-95) - Everything completed, now the testing should begin :) I've checked 899 Users (658kb user.data) and the creation of all 8 Bulls takes only 12.5 Sec....All currently needed bulls were created. V0.2 (10-24-95) - Bugfixed Update -Fixed the Output of the User-Lister, now the Columms where correctly displayed. +Added a little bit more security, now all memory-allocs are surrounded by some checkings. +Added two new bulletins: Nuked Bytes / Nuked Files. Simply take a look in the supplied cfg-file for more infos :) V0.3 (11-18-95) - Update +Rewritten the code to use the FAME.library, this also means that mULTI-tOP runs now ONLY with installed FAME- System, without it won't start anymore !! -Fixed the Layout in bulletin 'Nuked Bytes'. Now 14 digits will be used for the bytes instead of 9. +Added new bulletin for Top SysOp-Chatters. See supplied mULTI-TOP.cfg for more infos. V0.4 (01-19-96) - Next Update (requires FAME.library V0.10 - 18.01.96) !!! *BUGREPORT FROM SCANDIC/DTL: Fixed a hard bug when calculating the Up/Downloader Bytes. If the total bytes reached 4 GB, the total counter was resettet to zero bytes and therefor the calculation was wrong...now fixed, as BloodRock/tRSi integrates two new functions in FAME.library, which allows to perform actions with 64-Bit Integers...this should be currently enough to calculate all board's stats correctly...:) (02-08-96) *BUGREPORT FROM [oRK!]: mULTI-cHECK won't check if you have enough users inside your user.datas to create the amount of users for the bulls...if you have i.e. only 15 users, but you've set the maxuser-output to 30 users, the last 15 users where filled with garbage...now fixed, if you have less users than entered as maxusers, the maxusers where set to your real amount of users found in user.datas. V0.5 (03-16-96) - Next Update -Fixed a bug with the amount of users to display. If you have entered 9 as maximum users i.e., mULTI-tOP always displays 10 users..now fixed, always the right amount of users will be displayed. Also if you have only one valid user in your user.datas, this user will be shown in the bulletins now...(Hi mAGIC mAX! :) *BUG-REPORT FROM SCANDIC/DCN & dEATH aNGEL: mULTI-tOP crashes, but I don't know why, so I've changed ALL internal user-related variables to the ULONG format and enhanced all stringarrays to avoid possible memory overwritings. Also many more security (for the loss of speed) are built in to make programerrors safety. I've integrated also the SAS/C Stack Check, so if the crash results from an overflown stack, SAS reports this in a requester instead of guruing... *SUGGESTION FROM SCANDIC/DCN: mULTI-tOP now supports for every bull a specific header. Look in the docs for further informations about the headerfiles. V0.51 (03-18-96) - MAJOR BUGFIX !!!!!!!!!! *FOUND AND FIXED THE CRASH BUG, WHICH ONLY OCCURES WHEN YOUR SYSTEM HAS MORE THAN 4GB UL/DL'S !! BIG THX TO DEATH ANGEL FOR HELPING ME TO FOUND THIS OUT !!!!!!!!! V0.52 (08-20-96) - Small Update +After the update of the FAME.library mULTI-tOP is now able to calculate the total system stats correctly, because mULTI-tOP now uses the FAMENum64ToStr() function to calculate and display the values. You can now believe what mULTI-tOP calculates for your BBS ;) NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE FAME.LIBRARY V3++ INSTALLED !!! V0.60 (11-18-97) - Major Update - REQUIRES FAME.library V5+ & OS 3.x !!! +Added 64-Bit Up-/Download Byte calculations, mULTI-tOP will now count all bytes upto 18TB. During the long size of the greatest possible 64-Bit Value (26 chars including seperators!), I've decided to rewrite the whole layout, judge yourself if it's okay for you. I'm currently working on a user-definable design, this will be finished in the next weeks.... +Rewritten all memory related functions to use memory pools only. This result in faster working and also in less mem fragmentation, but requires now Kickstart V3.x... +Added new Bulletin called Top Overall Hacks. See .cfg file for more informations. V1.0 (05-12-98) - Official Public Release Version +Added some more optimisations for the Release Version. Configurable Design has to wait until I have more time... V1.1 (06-15-98) - Next public release....but for whom ?? -Fixed a bug which is very interested...because NOBODY saws it...mULTI-tOP simply creates NO BULLETINS because of a wrong variable declaration...fixed and released for me! V1.2 (02-13-99) - Public Release Added suggestion from EXON. Now the Sysop can be included in the bulletins. To allow this to work simply append the SHOWSYSOP option to your configuration as last entry. V1.3 (01-02-00) - Betatest Release Added support for external designs! Every aspect of all statistics generated by Multi-Top is now freely configurable. A list of all commands can be found in the doc file including a brief description of all commands. V1.32 (01-05-00) - Next Beta Update +Added more commands for external designs. Also using now locale.library to create 4-digit years. ------------------------------------------------------------------------[EOF]-
