This is a snapshot of the ImageMap menus. Click on one of the menu items to jump to the explaination.
Clear all areas and the picture. Open an empty window in default width and height. You can set the default size with workbench tooltypes.
Remove all area objects.
Open an image to create an map for it. Any datatypes image format can be loaded. Your current areas will be erased, if the new image is smaller than the old!
Load the area objects the image reference from an ImageMap project file. Your current project will be erased!
Save all area objects and the image path to an ImageMap project file for later use. Only the reference to image file is saved, not the image itself.
Open a file requester for saving the project file.
Generate the HTML MAP code for your imagemap and save it to a file.

Display program information.
Quit ImageMap. Don't forget to save your project file.
Divide a rectangle object into smaller rectangles.
Activate a rectangle object by clicking inside it's area. Then choose "Divide rectangle" from the edit menu. The follwing window should appear:
Now select the number of rectangles you want vertical and horizontal and press OK. The retangle will be divided like this:
Convert a circle or rectangle object to a polygon. Activate the object you want to convert by clicking inside it's area.
To convert a rectangle into a polygon simply select "Convert to polygon" from menu and you have a polygon. It looks like the rectangle but when you drag one of the edges, you move the point and not resize the rectangle.
When you choose "Convert to polygon" for a circle object the following window should appear:
Now select the number of circle segments the poylgon should have and click OK. The resulting polygon will look like this:
Duplicate the active object.
Activate this menu item if you want to save icons with the project files.
You can activate this permanently with workbench tooltypes.
