Documentation for CatUp (Catalogs Update) v1.1 ============================================== This program should be simple enough.. Quite userfriendly as usually! :) Anyway, some people is tired of changing the locale .ct files by hand all the time.. So, I have made this program so this can be fixed with ease.. What this program does is getting all the data's from the AHXRipper.ct file, which is the default language of AHXRipper.. This program is ONLY made for AHXRipper purposes.. Okay, please follow these steps to make this work: 1.. Choose a .CT file you want to translate to, for instance norsk or français.. Put this into the .CT filename.. If this file exists the "Check existing locale file for missing items" will appear.. 2.. Press the "Load English Local" button.. This will load all the data from the AHXRipper.ct file, and put this into the listview.. Please notice that an "*" will appear in the front of all the items; for instance: "* msg_AppDescription" The "*" means that this item is not translated before.. 3.. Now press the "Check existing locale file for missing items" button.. This will get the .CT file you entered in the .CT Filename field.. If you look in the listview now, you will probably see that some of the "*" is gone.. This means that they have been successfully translated... BUT! There is always a BUG! :) So, you should check all the fields in the listview, and check if the translation means the same as the english one!.. 4.. When you have checked through all the fields in the listview and everything is correct.. Use the "Save New Local File" to end the project.. The file will be saved in RAM: 5.. Send the new file to the Author of AHXRipper by EMAIL: kaarej@barentsnett.no 6.. Copy this file to your AHXRipper directory, and you will not have to much work next time you do this..
