The original Native Developer Kit 3.1, the last one distributed by
Commodore-Amiga, Inc., may be found in the drawer "Commodore_Amiga". Some
of this material was updated later by Amiga Technologies. Be aware of the
following changes.

The CD-ROM distribution of the 3.1 Native Developer Kit contains a
number of changes from the original five disk set distribution. The
organization of drawers and disks has been preserved as closely as
possible. Here is the list of changes:

- Unpacked all archive files.

- Moved legal information text to CD-ROM top directory.

- Deleted archive contents listing files

- Added icons to all included files.

- Corrected keyword and function name spellings in the following
  files found in "Docs/doc": datatypes.doc, disk.doc, diskfont.doc,
  dos.doc, exec.doc, expansion.doc, gameport.doc, graphics.doc,
  icon.doc, layers.doc, mathieeedoubbas.doc, mathieeedoubtrans.doc,
  mathieeesingbas.doc, mathieeesingtrans.doc, mathtrans.doc,
  parallel.doc, picture_dtc.doc, printer.doc, serial.doc

- Added smakefiles to all sample programs in "Examples1" and "Examples2".
  All projects can be built using SAS/C 6.56 just by entering "smake".
  All executables were rebuilt using the provided smakefiles to verify
  that the build setup works.

- Updated the contents of "Examples1/AsynchIO". The distribution now
  contains the most recent edition of Martin Taillefer's program code.

- Moved the contents of the drawer "Examples2/DataTypes/datatypes" up
  one level in the filing system hierarchy for ISO 9660 compliance.

- Updated the "Examples2/DataTypes/Src/ClipView" project to
  handle different system gadget sizes properly.

- Moved LHEX program and documentation from "Examples2" into drawer
  of the same name. Replaced LHEX v40.5 with v40.15 which was updated
  by Jim Cooper.

- In "Includes&Libs/linker_libs" amiga.lib v40.15 replaces v40.14. The
  v40.15 release fixes a bug in the memory pool routines. For
  more information see "Includes&Libs/SetPatch40/SetPatch_ReadMe".

- In "Includes&Libs/SetPatch40" SetPatch v40.16 replaces v40.14.
  The v40.16 release fixes a bug in the memory pool routines.

- In "SWToolKit3" the "owner" program was renamed to "memowner" to
  avoid a name clash with the Envoy "Owner" program.

- In "SWToolKit3" CatComp v40.5 replaces v40.4. The v40.5 release
  creates more robust table lookup data and code.

- Removed Enforcer 37.55 from "SWToolKit3"; version 37.64 contributed
  by Mike Sinz replaces this version.

- Added Enforcer version 37.70 contributed by Mike Sinz.

- Added Enforcer version 37.72 contributed by Mike Sinz.

- Changed outdated copyright information to Amiga International, Inc.
  where applicable. No attempts has been made to patch binaries, such
  as the Installer program. As long as there is no rebuild of these
  programs taking place, it should be well noticed that they do not
  belong anymore to ESCOM AG (in liquidation) or Amiga Technologies,
  which are both out of business as of this writing.
