Well... I : : found a solution to the problem. If it does this on your system, simply : : type something like :- "dt_142.exe rools", or "dt_142.exe sucks", : : whatever, as long as there is a second argument.. !! (this is courtesy of : : another code bug :-) ) .. This will set not set the default monitor : : setting, and thus will bring you to the main menu, where you can extract : : the wanted stuff.. But the text editor WILL NOT work, as it won't have : : the properties for the screen mode it should open.. But don't worry, : : from this issue onwards, if you type an argument in the command line, the : : text reader will work, as I fixed it up so it defaults to a PAL:640x256 : : screen when it opens.. But now at least you should be able to get the few : : previous issues to work on your system, if they don't. Um.. strange, as : : ONLY a very few minor people had this problem.. : : : : Also, DEVIOUS TOOLS WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE ON THE WWW PAGE anymore, so : : then you may be wondering.. "How the hell do I get it?", well, that is : : simple, just FTP to :- wizpal.paonline.com with the anonymous login and : : password, and you'll be able to grab the latest Devious Tools, and soon, : : you will be able to grab ANY previous issue. :-) . But the Catch is : : that the FTP currently will only be open between 10pm and 4 am EST USA : : time, or for me, it'll be between 10am and 4 pm WST Austalian time.. (I'm : : +8 GMT).
