All the programmers involved with MUI mcc's, libraries and other software found within the NetConnect package, sorry if we can't great you personally, but your work is very much appreciated.
1.2 Credits and Thanks
This is where we say thanks to the programmers, beta-testers, and everyone else involved with the development of NetConnect:
Michael Neuweiler, Oliver Wagner, Federico Pomi, Simone Tellini, Mathias Mischler, Thomas Bickel, Tomi Ollila and Stefan Stuntz are all thanked for their hard work programming all the modules for NetConnect. This included, in many cases, altering the code of their existing software, on demand (eek!) so that the software would contain enhancements needed for the NetConnect package.
Tomi Ollila, Markus Pehkuri, Pekka Pessi and Jarno Rajahalme from NSDi for their co-operation with the development of AmiTCP Dialup for NetConnect. Not many people know this, but the current AmiTCP-Genesis is radically improved from the version we first saw in May 1996.
Special thanks to..
Michael Neuweiler who worked hard to re-write many parts of AmiTCP, created the superb interface and has changed the structure of the TCP package. Without Michael, NetConnect nor AmiTCP-Genesis would never have happened!
Oliver Wagner for all the changes he made to MD-2, VNG and AmIRC, for the excellent work on
the registration wizard and for the mailing lists. On occassions I think that he probably wanted to hit me
due to my constant nagging, but luckily there are a few miles between us...
Federico Pomi for his continued moral support during the final stages of the NetConnect v2 production.
On occassions I very nearly gave up due to immense amounts of nagging and complaints from 'customers'
and quite a lot of personal pressure.
Simone Tellini for all his hard work on STFax Professional, the Contact Manager and 'other' projects
during the last year.
Benjamin Preece for is excellent work creating the NetConnect v2 installer.
Malcolm Lavery is thanked for the work spent on the NetConnect buttons, icons and all the graphics
involved with the packaging. He also worked on the small icons found within the MD-II and Voyager
preferences.
All the beta-testers and people on #ibeta (Morden, ChrisDi, Bogomil, AmigaInfo, Joker, pOMAC, ElleDi)
who have made this possible.
Any customer who has bought NetConnect. We need people like you to carry on developing the Amiga.
There will be people pirating this software (and reading this). I say: There are very few
users left in the Amiga market and this, like other Amiga software, does not sell no way near
as many copies as you probably think it does! The more you copy and give it to your mates, the
less likely we are to carry on developing. You have yourself to blame - there is no point buying
hardware and then pirating software.
