No middle man like with telser, uses direct interface to bsdsocket.library - Fast ansi display (8 or 16 color EGA emulation) - Ability to transfer files with XPR library - Does not use MUI! Requirements: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Workbench 2.0+ (V36) - AmiTCP/Miami or other TCP stack - XPR library for transfers - ibmcon.device (for color ansi) - reqtools.library Usage: ~~~~~~ DCTelnet [] Port is optional, 23 will be used as default. The 'CRLF Correction' option: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This option, if enabled, makes the client ignore ASCII 13 and turn all ASCII 10 into a 13,10 combination. In other words, turn this ON for UNIX/VT100 systems, and turn it OFF if you are connecting to normal BBS's. Function Keys (Macros) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You can use \r Carriage return \n Line Feed in your macros. Eg "Zed\r" might be a macro to use to login to a BBS. Contributors: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Thanks to Ray Akey for his help with the file tranfer code, it wouldn't have worked without his help. Thanks to RaMoNsTeR\DC for the installer script. zed@mentasm.com
