POST OFFICE TRANSFER

when getting, dispatching, 
importing and exporting of text opens transfer windows, which to you a
check of the process enables.  When importing or post office getting 
with switched on vorselektion a list of the
available messages opens.  Messages, which exceed
 the preset maximum size, are white marked.  Two status
symbols clarify, which is to occur with the message.  A small garbage 
pail means that the message on the Serveur is deleted.  The diskette 
symbol causes that the message is down-loaded.  There are thus the 
following four possibilities

 garbage pail diskette internal 
message
     the message is down-loaded and to it on the Serveur 
deleted (normal case) no the message deleted directly!  Preferred 
internal message for unwanted Werbemails.  no no the message remains 
on the Serveur, it yet down-loaded no the message is down-loaded, but 
is not deleted.

Meaning of the buttons:

Everything

selects all messages in the list for a following status 
change.  This button does not have influence on the internal message!

None

removes the current selection.  This button 
does not have influence on the internal message!

Loading

sets the diskette symbol for all selected messages ->down-load.

Skip

deletes the diskette symbol for all
selected messages ->do not down-load.

Delete

sets the garbage pail symbol for all selected messages ->delete on Serveur.

Kept

the garbage pail 
symbol for all selected messages deletes ->on Serveur leave.

Stop/continue

so long the preselection list one 
displays, YAM loads details to the individual messages (the heading 
lines requested).  With [ stopping ] you can interrupt button this 
process.

Start

preselection was concluded, the post
office transfer is now started.

Abort

aborts the 
post office transfer prematurely.  In the paragraph 'yousee status ', how many KBytes became to already transfer 
resp.und messages with which rate and how long the process will still 
about last.  The rate is measured in characters per second.  You are 
not disappointed, if during the Runterladen or dispatching post office
the rate of the modem is apparently not used.  With the transfer from 
small messages goes relatively much time for the negotiations between 
YAM and the post office serveur drauf, which does not flow into 
statistics.  Test it itself and transmit yourselves you a message with
a large file creation (e.g. 100 KB).  The button [ aborting ] serves for the abnormal termination of the post office 
transfer.  It functions only, if YAM has the check of the transfer.  
If the post office serveur blocks and therefore any longer does not 
react to YAM, wait on the time Out or interrupt you the connection by 
means of the TCP/IP software.
