MESSAGE LIST
the message list can contain up to
eight columns, whose contents and width can be defined in the
configuration.
Status of the message
new message envelope (rear side) with a ' N ' new one, unread message,
which was down-loaded when last post office getting.
Unread
message envelope (rear side) message, which was not read yet.
Read message opened envelope message, which was
already read.
Answered message opened envelope with
a ' R ' message, on which a response were already given.
Passed on message opened envelope with a ' F ' message, which
is far or was rerouted to another person.
Message envelope did not dispatch from the front messages in the post office
output, which are ready for the dispatch.
Closed message envelope (front) with a ' H ' message in the post office
output, which is to be still processed before the dispatch.
Dispatched message envelope (front) with stamp message, which
was successfully dispatched.
Message with transmission error torn envelope message, with which with the dispatch an error
occurred.
Message with Anlage(n) paper clip
message, which one or more files were attached.
Encoded
message code message, which was encoded with PGP.
Status report plaque with the letter ' i ' contains automatic
acknowledgements of the post office serveur or of the Mailprogramm of
the recipient.
Important message exclamation mark
message, which the sender classified as important. The further
columns can contain the following specification:
Sender/recipient: E-Mail address or, if available, the name
of the sender or recipient of the message (depends on the type of the
p.o. box). If the message were dispatched to several persons time, a
Statusbildchen before the name, which contains three small headings,
appears.
Concern: Concern of the message. If the
messages are arranged according to concern, those becomes prefix RH:
and AW: ignored.
Date: The creation date of the
message converted to the local time. So that this conversion also
folds, both the recipient and you must stop the
correct time belt.
File name: Name of the
file, which contains the message.
Response address:
Contents of the Reply to field of the message. If this field is
missing, the address of the sender (From field) is displayed.
Size: Size of the message in bytes. The measures,
which were defined in the configuration, can modify
you temporarily, by pulling with the mouse on the narrow column
dividing lines. A small arrow in one the column title displays, how
the messages are sorted. Click on a column title sorts the message of
the selected column accordingly. Second click on the same column
title turns the sort order over (i.e. Z>A instead of A>Z). these adjustments are however only temporary; if you
want to stop the assortment for a p.o. box permanently, you must do
this in
the configuration. Doubleclick on an entry
in the list opens a reading window and displays
therein the appropriate message. They can shift messages into another
p.o. box, by marking one or more entries, these with pressed left
mouse button left from the message list outside into the p.o. box list
to pull and the mouse button over the desired p.o. box to release.
