Program: DeXFD Version: 0.421 (17.12.96) Author: Leif Oppermann Meeresblickstrasse 11 31556 Woelpinghausen Germany eMail: noname@blacky.mcnet.de Short: DeXFD decrunches until it realizes no more packed data Req.: DeXFD works on any Amiga with xfdmaster.library (v33 or better) DeXFD has to be run from CLI (or DOpus) and can be made resident with "resident c:dexfd" since it is pure. If any password is required for decrunching, you will be prompted to enter it. The unique feature in DeXFD is its ability to repeat the decrunching process until XFD knows no more. If you want to test DeXFD, type "dexfd " and you will see. There isn`t any option except the question-mark (?) so you most probably won`t loose the overview. If you need to work with wildcards, there is a VERY simple script for you named "DX". Just enter "dx " and everything that matches the given pattern will be decrunched. Be aware of decrunching sensible data if your media is almost full. DeXFD won`t check if the decrunched data will fit onto the media, but overwrite the original data with the decrunched one. If an error occurs while writing, ...bad luck. DeXFD will probably react more sensitive in future versions, but it has never been written for decrunching critical data on full media.
