       Liability
       ~~~~~~~~~
       If your computer crashes, your car blows up, your
       girlfriend leaves you, your cat becomes pregnant,
       your dog begins to walk under the ceiling,or your
       TV  begins  to  transmit 'V' 24 hours a day, it's
       not  MY  fault,  and  I  take  NO  responsibility
       whatsoever   for  the  (mis)performance  of  this
       program...
       General Information
       ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     - What is this LZX anyway?

     - LZX is a new compression algorithm developed by Jonathan
       Forbes, the creator of many programs including the good
       old LZ and XenoLink (the BBS system)...

     - So ? What does that help me?

     - The thing with LZX is that it's quick, and compresses far
       better than any other compression program including LHA and
       Shrink.

     - But is this something only for the Amiga or what?

     - Nope! LZX will be coming in a PC version soon as well,
       so it'll be multiplatform available for the public..

     - Ahuh, and what if I've got, say a BBS or something and
       want to be able to use it, like check if files are ok
       that are compressed with this LZX, what do I do?

     - This is where LZXCheck comes in, you simply enter the
       filename on the mainline and it checks the file!

     - Wow! It's just that simple.. wow..

     - Yeah, and you can add files to the archive as well..
       Adds and stuff.. But the limitation right now is
       that LZX itself can't add multiple files on one go,
       that is only available when registered.. I'll
       be coming out with a new version as soon as I get my
       hands on a registered LZX, so that it'll be possible
       to specify a file that LZX will read what files
       to add to the archive...

     - But I can still add one file, right?

     - Yeah, right now you can add ONE file to the archive..
       And in the registered LZX you'll be able to strip
       files from the archive as well... I'll add that
       feature like I said, when I get the registered
       version...

       Installation
       ~~~~~~~~~~~~
     - But how do I do for AmiExpress for example?
     - You just copy the directory called SSP to your
       DOORS: and the icon LZX.info to your BBS:FCheck/
       and change the options to whatever suitable...
     - Ok! How do I specify an add file?
     - The information in the icon should look something
       like this:
                               ---- CUT ----
       CHECKER=DOORS:SSP/SSP_LZXCheck/SSP_LZXCheck.exe
       OPTIONS=-A DOORS:SSP/SSP_LZXCheck/AddFile
                               ---- CUT ----
       You can forget about the rest, it is set as it should,
       don't change it!
       The CHECKER= is the path to the checker... Leave it at
       that...
       The OPTIONS= string is configured like this:
       If there is a -A in it, then Adding is enabled, then
       you change the S:MyAddFile to whatever you want,
       this is the file that will be added...
       If you DON'T want any adding, only testing, just delete
       the OPTIONS= field or put a semicolon in front of it
       like :
       ;OPTIONS=-A DOORS:SSP/SSP_LZXCheck/AddFile
       Nothing more, nothing less...
       DON'T FORGET TO ADD THIS FILETYPE TO THE DIZ DOORS AS WELL!
       For example for ByteAndi's FileID door:
       extern_LZX_ADD=c:LZX -q a %P %WFILE_ID.DIZ
       extern_LZX_EX=c:LZX -q x %P FILE_ID.DIZ %W
       Bugs
       ~~~~
     - What do I do if I find a bug in the program then?

     - Nah, there aren't no bugs... But if you find one, just
       call any board that I'm active on and leave a mess to me..

       History
       ~~~~~~~
       V1.0 - First release... What you see is what you get!
       V1.1 - First release... Beta used for testing...
              Second release.. Beta which fixed a few bugs,
                               and added features...
                               Speeded all approx. 20%
              Third release... Beta, fixed major bug which
                               was caused in 2nd rel...
       V1.2 - First release... Added extra output, now
                               also displays filename and
                               filesize, org and new...
                               Public release...
       Future
       ~~~~~~
       To make it work with the registered version with multifile
       adding and stripping, I've got to get hold of the
       registered version first though.. Well, any other ideas
       are welcome! Call any board that I'm active on (preferably
       Bad Blow (+46-8-58081481)) and leave a mess to me (Blast).

       Greetings goes to:
       ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
       The Eagle.: You'll get it back soon.. I promise!
       Mr.Coke...: Is your board ALWAYS busy or what?
       Nightshade: Have you changed the output of that 'c' door YET?
       Opium.....: How the hell did you burn both par. ports ?!
