Starting from *the minute* that I am sending out this newsletter, I am taking orders for the Dr.Awesome "X2 Soundtrack" CD. Although some of you have already thrown yourselves at the email to reserve a numbered copy, *please* read through this text before you order it!! Just to make it clear what you are ordering... This is not high art. The "musical and artistic qualities" will have to wait. This CD is not by LYNNE, it is by DR.AWESOME. It is a CD for the scene - "X2" is an explosive experience in dance / techno / trance / goa music. The sub bass will rattle your windows and vibrate your intestines. The heavy grinding guitar will grab you by the neck and shake you like a leaf. And the 140-150 beats per minute hard pumping beats will totally dope you out without the need for any further mind altering substances. This CD is the soundtrack from the game X2, with remixed versions of the game music - plus extra bonus tracks. There are 17 manic tracks on the cd, of which 5 are not available in the game. The CD features Bjorn Lynne a.k.a. Dr.Awesome on all instruments including mega dirty filthy guitars and totally tripping keyboards. And to top it off: totally *insane* cover artwork by Rico Holmes. That's what you get. What you *don't* get is "good music with lots of atmosphere and feeling". For that, you have to wait for LYNNE's album "The Void" which is sounding better and better every day, and which will be available in the early beginning of 1997. The CD is being produced right now, and it will be fresh and hot from the CD production plant in about 4 weeks from now. The minute I get them from the production plant, I will start sending out CD's to everyone who has pre-ordered, so if you order your CD right now, expect to receive it in about 4-5-6 weeks. -------------------------------------------------------------- The first 200 copies sold will be individually serial-numbered -------------------------------------------------------------- As usual, the first 200 copies that are ordered directly from my own desk will be individually serial-numbered 001-200 and personally signed in gold ink. The first persons to order will get the lowest serial numbers. If there is any particular serial-number that you want, then just say so in your order, and *as far as possible* I will try to give you that number. If you're in Europe, you can send a *EuroCheque* (NO other foreign cheques). If you use a EuroCheque, always write it out in UK pounds (14 UK pounds per CD incl. postage), write it out to BJORN A.
