I hear you cry! Well, this game did not function properly on 030/040/060 Amiga's, and in the midst of fixing the numerous bus errors on the game, I noticed the severe lack of blitter code. The only blitter references I could find, were in the RNC loader. So that meant that the game was entirely CPU driven. If that was the case, why was it that the game still ran like a snail on an A4000 030? So I investigated further and came up with some options, so that this AGA fix will be of more benefit than just the owners of faster Amiga's. In the game you can now press the following: F1 - Audio Filter toggle on/off F2 - PAL/NTSC toggle on/off F3 - Original/Turbo toggle on/off NOTE: If you want to select the link option, if you are playing in turbo mode, it may be advised that you play against someone with a similar specced machine. There is a possibility that the speed differences between an A1200 and an A4000 may cause one machine to lag behind the other. I did also have a Fast Ram option, whereby I relocated all the code in the game to run from fast ram. The only problem with this was the game was so fast as to be TOTALLY unplayable. Are there any other old Vector games that could do with a speed up? There maybe some others I am unaware of. If you know of any, get in contact with me on any major UK BBS.
