The special is this. If you are to sign up with MCI they will give you $1,000.00 of free long distance for the period of one billing period (usually 30 days but some- times 28). They pay for the switch over and your on your way to calling all the LD Systems you want. We did this and tried to accumulate the maximum amount of $1,000.00 in one billing period and to no avail. We only managed to get it up around $700.00 buxs or so. We got a ton of files and at no cost to us. If you are to keep MCI you are eligible for this special again in 13 months. If you are fortunate to have a small business or at least have a phone that is registered as a small business the take advantage of this. Once you are finished swith back to AT&T (or whoever) and get the $50.00 LD bonus. We are very fortunate to have a couple small busniess(s) and have done this again and again.. Best thing is its LEGAL! No calling cards, no credit card calls, no phreaking. Just legal calling at the expense of MCI! Now for those of you who think $1,000.00 is not much in LD. Well we had (2) lines going at it. Average of about (4) hours a day, primetime. And we didn't get to close.
