DESCRIPTION

What is Grolem ?
----------------
Grolem is computerized character generator for RoleMaster roleplaying game.
With Grolem it is fast and easy to make characters for Rolemaster
(and compatible :-) roleplaying games. Currently supported profesions cover
RoleMaster boxedset books, Companion I,II,III,IV,V,EC,OC,VI,VII and ARMSC. 
Support for about 282 skills and 60 races is included.

If more professions, skills or races become available it is possible to
alter the datafiles with texteditor and add the new ones.

Grolem is completly mouse driven, multitasking click-and-go Amiga program and
on msdos it isn't mousedriven, multitasking click-and-go msdos program. Instead
it is textbased, keyboard driven singletasking typical msdos program.

What do you need ?
------------------
Various RoleMaster books are essential, especially companion II.

AMIGA VERSION
Amiga with at least 512kb memory and kickstart 2.0 or better. Grolem has been
tested with KS2.04 and KS3.0. It'll work from floppy, although I recommend
harddrive.
(The development of AmiGrolem has been ceased and won't resume until the
 new AAA(rgh) machines come out (possibly not even then))

MSDOS VERSION
PC with about 300kb of free conventional memory and a vga-graphicscard. It
might work also with EGA card. (The newest version of PCGrolem is V1.15, but
it is available only as a gift..)
