Boy, do I have lots of new material for for you !? Welcome to the first update in 2 months. Several people have contacted me lately offering to scan LOTS of new material for the site. With a little luck there'll be a new and maybe even better update soon. I hope you've all enjoyed your summer holiday and the sunny weather (we've been blessed with that in northern Europe this summer :-) and are ready to return to your computer screens for a bit of Commodore nostaglia.

I could hardly believe my own eyes when Neil Cafferkey (caffer@NOSPAM.cs.ucc.ie) offered me this 9.5 MB English brochure. It spans 44 pages. This is quite amusing as the brochure is from 1982, and explains in detail what people can expect when using computers and what they get with the "brilliant" software that is "Officially approved by Commodore". Go to the Commodore Adverts / English section now :-)

Thanks to Rasmus Sørensen (3263688m001@stofanet.dk) The Commodore Billboard now also features a Commodore Adverts / Danish section. Rasmus has kindly provided me with both a C64 and C128 advert from 1986 and 1987 respectively.

4. One German 1541 Brochure

Allow me to introduce you guys to Stefan Zelazny (Galaktus@t-online.de). He has submitted TONS of material for this update. Thanks a lot Stefan! This is great stuff :-) Let's start of with a new brochure in the Commodore Brochures / German section. Here'll you find a 2 page brochure for the 1541 diskdrive in the typical black/white layout. (1987)

Have a look in the Amiga Brochures / German section. Here you'll find more stuff from Stefan Zelazny (Galaktus@t-online.de). He has provided me with 2 German CDTV brochures. One from 1991 that spans two pages with a nice colour cover. Another one from 1993? that also spans two pages - both in colour - and the title "Der komplette multimedeia-computer"

More material from Stefan Zelazny (Galaktus@t-online.de). Check out the Amiga Brochures / German section. This section now features a new 2 page colur brochure for the CD32 from 1993 and a 4 page colour brochure that's also from 1993.

Stefan Zelazny (Galaktus@t-online.de) continues to submit :-) In the Amiga Brochures / German section you'll find a 2 page colour brochure for the A1200 Desktop Dynamite package that Commodore produced in 1993. The A1200 came with Digita Wordworth, Digita Print Manager, Deluxe Paint IV (AGA) (Duh?) and games Oscar and Dennis.

Richard Wagenführer (express@munich.netsurf.de) from Germany has kindly provided me with a 4 page colour A1200 brochure from 1992. It is available though the Amiga Brochures / German section. Thanks Richard.

Yup! The Amiga was available available all over the world - and in Greece too. Thanks to Frank Livadaros (skyrunner@europe.com) The Commodore Billboard now also features Greek material. Frank has kindly provided me with a Greek A500 brochure. Go have a look in the Amiga Brochures / Greek section. You'll have to figure out yourself what the brochure says, or mail Frank. ;-) I don't speak a word of Greek. :-)

Alfred Das (adas@home.nl) has submitted a 12 page Dutch brochure for Commodore's line of Pentium PCs. This brochure is from 1997 and is from the time when Escom had bought the remains of Commodore. Thanks Alfred. Go to the PC Brochures / Dutch section

This is the last brochure submitted by Stefan Zelazny (Galaktus@t-online.de). It's an 8 page German colour brochure covering both PCs, Amigas and the C64. The brochure is therefore available in both PC Brochures / German, Amiga Brochures / German and the Commodore Brochures / German.

Let's get back to Stefan Zelazny (Galaktus@t-online.de) shall we? :-) He has provided me with 3 scans of Commodore matchboxes that features players from the Bayern München (Bavaria Munich? :-) soccer team. There's also three scans of a black CDTV T-shirt that's probably from 1992?. One of the scans shows the inside label of the T-shirt, which proves they are genuine Commodore products. He has also submitted a scan of an Amiga matchbox shaped a the famous Boing! ball. All this is available in the Miscellaneous section.

From Gerald Mateyka (gmateyka@home.com) comes a quite funny piece of hardware: An Amiga disk calculator. What does this mean excactly? Well, have a look in the miscellaneous section. It came from an authorized Commodore dealer in America and I therefore have reason to believe that this is an official Commodore merchandise product.
