Hi everybody. Hope you've all had a good summer
vacation. This newsletter is just to inform you about a few basic things
happening here at The Commodore Billboard. Expect a new update during the next
week.
2. Video clips back online
===================
This great news is the main reason for sending this
short newsletter. During the past few months several of the video clips on The
Commodore Billboard haven't been available for download. All files were spread
on several servers all over the world, but unfortunately the files were taken
offline without my knowledge. To my surprise I discovered that many of the
TV-ads had dead links.
This has now been solved with the kind help of
Amiga software development company Haage&Partner (www.haage-partner.com). Markus Nerding -
co-founder of the company - has kindly provided my with more than 125 MB of
webspace on their high-speed servers located in Germany, Europe.
With Haage&partner's solid position in the
Amiga market, the files are guaranteed to be online for a long time for all you
Commodore fans to enjoy.
Haage&Partner is one of the leading Amiga
software developers working closely with Amiga Inc. and has produced several
famous software packages such as StormC, AmigaWriter and also the official
updates to the Amiga operation system. Latest version is 3.9 with a 4.0 version
in the works.
I would hereby like to thank all people who during
the last year have hosted the video clips for me. You have certainly given
me invaluable assistence in creating The Commodore Billboard.
3. Tons of new material in the next
update

Yup! I know that I've been neglecting The Commodore
Billboard during the past few months. The site hasn't been updated since the 31
of March. But I promise you will get a new update sometime during next week. I'm
already working on it. Expect to find new PC brochures, Amiga brochures, Amiga
adverts, Commodore brochures and but certainly not least - grab a hold on
something - a 45 page brochure. Yes, a brochure from 1982 with no less than
FOURTY-FIVE pages.
The Commodore Billboard continues to grow. Keep the
submissions coming :-)
