The game magazine "The Pulse", which was available for free, shall now become a

New Aminet Uploads
As mentioned some days ago, Alfred will comment single programms on Aminet from time to time. Today
he delved with RndWbPix from Stephan Rupprecht (German report).
Registration for AppMI possible from now on
AppMI is a big collection of images for toolbars with GlowIcon design, which might become a standard for
the Classic-Amiga system. This collection is available for free for programmers and all the interessted,
but to get the archive you must register and everybody releasing a product that will use AppMI, would please
send me a copy of the full version of this programm.
For that reason only registered users will get the archive. The registration for AppMI is now online and
the release is planed for the end of July 2000.

I am writting to inform you for the release of free amiga internet
magazine of July. I would also wanted you to know that this is
the last time that the magazine is released in this form and in
this site. From next month our magazine will be in html form and
most of the subjects will be renewed everyday. It also will not be in
amiga.gr but in www.hittp.com
The hittp.com will be a site which will be refering in other platforms
too, like Mac,Linux,PC and even consoles.
At this time we are waiting from software & hardware companies,
user groups and simple users who have done some work their
contribution in order altogether to give a better informing and nice
reviewing of products.
Lastly we wanted to ask for your opinion about the amiga place in
hittp.com
Bill McEwen in Digital Jam at CNN
Tomorrow has (today had) Bill McEwen his first little appearance on TV in Digital Jam at CNN.
This live gig will take place (took place) between 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm (pacific time), and will
last (lasted) about 3-6 minutes.
Amiga Inc. works together with Compuquick Media Center
A press relase of Amiga Inc. says that they have made a strategical distribution
agreement with Compuquick Media Center. The SDK (Software Development Kit) and
the Amiga Classic products will be distributed by Compuquick Media Center
(Columbus, Ohio, USA).
"AmigaGadget" - news
Good and bad news from the freeware-diskmagazine "AmigaGadget". The homepage
contains now a large download archive, especially for "UAE"-users. You can sign
an information mailing list on this website to be informed about the relase of
new issues. Issue no. 45 will not be released in time, a delay of about 2-3 weeks
is possible (articles can still be send). Which the bad and which the good news,
decide yourself.
XAD system version 7
Today the new version of xadmaster.lha of the archive extraction system
is available at the Aminet. XAD supports more than 40 file and disk archive types
and several Amiga file systems.It is unbeatable in combination with
Voodoo-X.lha as GUI. Also new versions of XFD, CheckX, and some other tools are available, too.

Petition vs. software patents in Europe
Who does not remember the problems with the .gif-format or LZW!? To avoid hurdles
like this, you can sign a petition from Eurolinx if you want to vote against
software-patents in Europe.

On the pc gamenews page Gamers Depot you will find
an interesting article about the future of the Amiga and an interview with Bill McEwen. The first
paragraph makes me shiver with joy ;).
New AmigaAMP plugins
In last days two new AmigaAMP visualization plugins that are worth a look (in my
opinion) were released:
1) Water plugin from Lukasz Lica aka BBAMIGO
It looks like the old Full Spectrum plugin but thanks to Warp3D it shows a wavy
water surface in front of some nice hills. Also it is very colourful:).
2) Subspace from me
It looks like 3D but is only two dimensional and based on the known WinAMP plugins
Geiss and G-Force. The waveform of the currently played track is shown in permanently
changing patterns and shapes. The created picture is also smoothed and distorted
so many different effects are shown. Everything from a breath-taking flight through a
flickering corridor, the corona of a eclipse of the sun to floating water is possible:).
