Short: Rename long filenames containing ()?#*
Author: Daniel Westerberg (deniil@algonet.se)
Uploader: Daniel Westerberg (deniil@algonet.se)
Version: 1.0
Type: util/cli

This program is a complement of C:Rename.

It's purpose is to rename files without using pattern
and thus also rename files containing special characters
such as ()#?* correctly.
Useful when you are using Workbench or a version of
DirOpus that cannot handle long filenames and the
AmigaDOS rename neither works because of special characters.

And ofcource it handles files with spaces, use "" as usual.

Usage:
  Ren <sourcefile> <destinationfile>

If you're looking for a more powerful renaming tool, take
a look at util/misc/MultiRen! This will be out in a couple
of weeks.. (Today it's 99-06-26)
