Short: Notifies you if a specific word is mentioned on an irc channel Author: zonkerz@starcafe.org (Zonkerz) Uploader: zonkerz@starcafe.org (Zonkerz) Type: comm/irc Requires: amirc 2.0 or newer Adds the Ability for you to be in many channels at once and not have to pay attention :) Notifies you by beeping and displaying a message to your current channel window if someone says a specific word that you might be watching for. Ie: your in a room of 100 ppl all chatting and looking for someone to say they live in same town as you. so you /addword yourtownname and if someone says that word, you get notified what word was said and who said it. so you can look for that message. Supports Multiple watch words too Installation: Copy all .amirx files into Amirc/rexx/ directory copy beep3.wav into your amirc sounds directory go online with AmIRC and type /rx installwordalert It will add the proper aliases to your system for operation. Usage: To start wordalert type /wordalert This will load up wordalert with an empty list. If you are on multiple servers, you need to do this for each AmIRC client you have loaded. They will all use the same wordlist though, so you won't have to addwords to each one seperatly.
