>>> I you liked FileCleaner, you will *love* MultiRen!!

This program is for renaming, usually multiple files, hense the
name, using special designed Tools or just manually using a
string gadget.

One of the more useful features of MultiRen is that no files
are actually renamed during your work until you decide so and
then press Rename in the main window.

Another great thing is that you can save the list of filenames
and their states if you want to continue the next day or maybe
just to save the list as a backup so that you can undo your
work at a later state if a tool didn't do quite what you wanted.

You can use it to create playlists, perhaps sorted or shuffled
if you want.
You can also edit filecomments in a flexible way, like adding
date or filelength to them or so.

News:
~~~~~
* MultiRen is now Key-mail Ware which means that you have
  to send me an e-mail with your name to get a key-file
  so you can get rid of all annoying requesters and shit! :-)
  It's absolutely free, I just want to know how many cool
  users I've got ;-))
  Your name will ofcource not be used for anything else
  than to create your personal keyfile which will be sent
  back to you ASAP.
  (Display names without permission is illegal here in Sweden!)
* Did you ever think of the idea to rename a couple of files
  whos names where in a textfile??
  Now you can do it the easy way!  Just map a textfile to
  your filenames in the list and that's it!
* Now you can use the Numberer tool to number your files
  in very flexible ways!
* Now you can use the FileComment tool to edit (add, remove,
  change, improve) your filecomments!
* Now the extensions in the Extension Editor can be saved!
* The text-export has got new features which makes you able
  to put f.ex commands in the file list you create so that
  you can execute it as a dos-script f.ex!
