Short: Demo sample from new music CD by Boray! Boray here..... Well, I would like to take this moment to tell you a little about a new music CD that I have made. I don't know if you have noticed, but for some years now, I have made mod after mod after mod. Most of them are available on Aminet: mods/boray. But for the last year I have not released any new mods. Why? The answer is that I have been working on this CD instead. The CD is packed with 70 minutes of melodic high quality synthesizer music. I think it's the best music I've made ever... The demo sample in this archive is taken from this CD. The sample is only 16 kHz mono, so you can't compare it to the great quality of the real CD... Hardware used: Ensoniq SQ-1 plus (a synthesizer) Amiga 1200 (030 50Mhz) (a real computer :-) ProMidi Interface (midi interface) Philips CDR 870 (CD Recorder) Philips AK630 (CD player) An audio mixer cable (mixer) HP Deskjet 670C (colour printer, for the cover) Software used: OctaMED Soundstudio (Tracker, freeware version) +Selector (+Selector for choosing instruments) Bars&Pipes (Sequencer, freeware version) PersonalPaint (for the cover, freeware version) WordWorth5SE (for the cover, Aminet CD version) As you can see, this CD is made entirely on the Amiga, using ONLY freeware software! It sure is amazing what you can accomplish with freeware software only, and I think this CD is a great example of this.
