Introduction
------------

Maybe you remember "DrawMap" or "PlotMap", two Amiga programs that
could generate maps of any part of the world.  Massive has the same
purpose as these old-timers, but it's better:

 -- It knows all 1998's international borders (unique for the AMIGA!)

 -- It can flood fill land masses automagically (unique for the AMIGA!)

 -- Zoom in on the Maldives and you'll know what precision is

 -- No problem to have the 180° meridian in the middle of a map

 -- Works with every possible screen mode from 320x200 to 1280x1024

 -- Reasonably fast


System Requirements
-------------------

Amiga with Kick 2.1 or better, at least 2 Meg RAM, maybe 3.  I'm
not 100% sure about that and will be glad if someone tells me if
it works on a 2 MB-Amiga.
If you do not have at least a 68030 processor:  Better not use the
"fill land" option unless you have loads of time.


Beta!
-----

This is a beta release that was completed in June.  I simply did not
have the time to improve Massive since then, and I don't want it to
be used by only five people in the world, so here it comes!
It may well contain bugs, and some features are not implemented yet,
but after all:  It _does_ work.
Rivers are not included yet, only some reservoirs that they are
passing through.


Installation
------------

No fancy installation at the moment:  Unpack the lha archive, and
Massive is ready, anyway.


Usage from a Shell
------------------

In case that you want to start Massive from a Shell:
First "cd" to Massive's directory, then type "stack 10000" and
hit return.  THIS IS IMPORTANT!  Otherwise you'll get errors like
"Modula-2 Laufzeitfehler / Stapel Überlauf" (= stack overflow).
