So why change the name? Well, when the script was first created, all it did was 'Send Events'. Since the script now does so much more, it was suggested (by Kevin Cowans) that I change the name. Since I couldn't come up with a better suggestion than that of Kevin's, ProcessEvents.br it is. It now uses an Installer script to not only put ProcessEvents.br where it belongs, but also to create the necessary configuration file. For this reason, it is important that ProcessEvents is installed from the Installer script provided. ProcessEvents sends Thor Events, FTP's files from Download/Upload Events and gets news and mail without the use of ConnectThor or without Thor running. The script supports POP3 (including multiple mailboxes) and SMTP mail systems (user definable). It checks for active Thor events and, if found, pops up a requester that displays the details of all Events (including which Conference) and offers several choices: POP3 SMTP 1. Do All 1. Do Both 2. Send Events 2. Get News 3. Get Mail 3. Send Events 4. Get News 4. Edit Events 5. Get Both 5. Cancel 6.
