Here's why: ncftp is BIG, uses 300K of memory, this doesnt. ncftp doesnt have 'REGET' possibility, this does. well, that's about that :) dl shows it's best performance over very slow links, where connection gets timed out, and than dl reconnects by itself, and continues to download where it ended last time.
