ABOUT

This is an ARexx script for use with PageStream3.
With this script it's possible to get an overview of all available fonts.

(if you want a better overview use the "Print Font Specime" script which
comes with PageStream3!)

REQUIREMENTS

- PageStream3 (of course!!!)
- Some fonts in the font directory


USAGE

* copy this into your PageStream3:Scripts/ drawer
* select "Play Script" in PageStream3
* specify the offsets and the sample text
  (you can use "*n" for a newline character.
   e.g. "aA*nbB" will print:
                            aA
                            bB
   and "*t" for a tabulator)
* loooook!!!


HISTORY

V1.00 (26. Oktober 1996)
 * first public release

V1.01 (27. Oktober 1996)
 * FontCatalog is much faster now
 * font samples now fit in the surrounding boxes.
   (Well, the textframes do... if the fonts overlap the boxes
    FontCatalog can't do anything! Sorry.)

V1.02 (30. Oktober 1996)
 * again increased the speed
 * added possibility to use fixed fontsize!
   So all fontsamples will be 50pt for example.
   To use this you must specify the fontsize in the horizontal # field!!
 * rewritten the routines to place the samples on the page.
 * FontCatalog now shows the number of fonts installed and the current fontnumber.
 * if a font is too big to be placed on screen FontCatalog will *stop*!

V1.03 (03. November 1996)
 * uuupsss. corrected a little bug with the fontnames.
   the calculation for fixed fonts was not correct!
 * fixed a little bug with fonts not fitting on the page
