THOR 2.4 is an advanced multi-format offline reader, supporting the QWK, Fido, UUCP, SOUP, Bluewave, Omen, ABBS, MBBS and Hippo (BBBS) message formats. It will also handle TCP-connections with NNTP, SMTP and POP3, with extensive MIME support. Changes in 2.4: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ - Support for the MIME Forward event implemented in THOR. Availability depends on the system type. - Multiple attachment window added. - Aminet ADT support added, which will allow you to upload and download files to/from Aminet. - Arexx: REQUESTFILE supports multiselect now. A OUTSTEM must be provided with multiselect. - Two new options in the user database: "Encode as 7-bit" and "PGP Key ID". These can be used to set default values if you enter messages to persons that is in the user database. PGP Key ID will be filled out, but not be activated, but only if you send to a single recipient. Encode can be used for sending to several recipients, and if atleast one of them has this option set in the user database, all of them will get mail encoded. Note that this is only default values and can be turned off. - External Bluewave config by Simone Tellini + many bug fixes and improvements To install this upgrade, use the UpdateThor or InstallThor installer script. ************************************************************************ **************************** IMPORTANT ********************************* The Reply button in THOR has been changed to default to a private reply, and a new Followup button replaces the old reply behaviour.
