Short: Gets the state of qualifiers at runtime Author: ODIN@liteline.mcnet.de (Joerg Schuchardt) Uploader: ODIN@liteline.mcnet.de (Joerg Schuchardt) Version: 1.10 Type: util/cli GetQual 1.10 Copyright © 1996 by Joerg Schuchardt - FREEWARE - GetQual is a CLI command that simply gets the state of some qualifiers at the very moment of the program's runtime. As a result it sets the returncode to 5 (WARN) if any qualifier is being pressed and it declares eleven new local variables which can be used in a script file. The advantage, compared to other programs which also ascertain the state of the qualifiers, is that you only have to run the program once but can use the result several times. I use GetQual in the startup-sequence to influence my Amiga's con- figuration: start with or without loading the EGS drivers, with or without running the contents of the WBStartup drawer and with or without activating additional tools. n-joy, Joerg Changes since Version 1.00: =========================== - Now sets the returncode to 5 (WARN) if any qualifier is being pressed. - Added the argument CLEAR to remove the according variables. ============================= Archive contents ============================= Original Packed Ratio Date Time Name -------- ------- ----- --------- -------- ------------- 948 496 47.6% 26-Feb-96 20:10:24 GetQual110.info 2692 1641 39.0% 25-Feb-96 15:44:10 +GetQual 3429 1586 53.7% 26-Feb-96 21:08:04 +GetQual.doc 1017 300 70.5% 26-Feb-96 19:30:48 +TestIt -------- ------- ----- --------- -------- 8086 4023 50.2% 23-Mar-96 05:02:24 4 files
