When your unpacker gives warnings about overwriting of some files just choose to overwrite them. ====================================================================== The following changes has taken place: ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bug: Spacebar transformations on icons not supporting it right. Result: You could create 255 tanks, 1 battleship etc. in the area it was dropped in. Reported by: Nils Sudmann, nilss@stud.cs.uit.no Status: Fixed 100% ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bug: Units multiply Results: If you have more than (area income)*20 of one unittype in an area, the number of units in the next round will be random (normally increasing). Reported by: Bevelstone Production, also seen by Nils Sudmann Status: Fixed 100% ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bug: Fleet units disappered in second turn, turning up later Reported by: Nils Suddmann Status: We haven't been able to reproduce the bug, but it's properbly an sideeffect of using the previus mentioned "spacebar" bug. If it happens without using this, please tell us! ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Readme file states that the Amiga version requires a 68030 processor This should only have been the recommended processor. Fields of Battle should run on any 680xx processor (if not, please let us know). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bug: Areawindows not cleared properly Result: Amiga: When units are moved out of an area window forcing the window to change size, the bottom of the window is not repainted right (only visible in 16 color mode) PC: When moving units the area windows involved might not be updated. Reported by: Bevelstone Production Status: Fixed 100% ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bug: Fields of Battle can't start without the CGTimes font installed (Amiga only) Workaround: Install the font from your Workbench, or make a copy of another Times like font. Reported by: Carl Chavaz foregone@u.washington.edu Status: Users can change font in the registered version, and in demo version 1.1 (after installing this patch). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bug: You can't drag icons using left alt and left command key instead of left mouse button. (Amiga only) Reported by: Betasoft Status: Fixed 100% ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Bug: The MS-Windows version can't always detect the graphic mode correctly, therefore aborting. Reported by: Ken Fishkin Workaround: You can overwrite the screen dimensions (Width, height and colors) in the INI file of fob.
