Short: *PRELIMINARY* information about the new WPL front end language.

  This language is an attempt to provide an open-access networking
language for configuring front end/point/etc mailers.  It features
multi-threaded, multi-addressed, multi-network support via various
extendable libraries.  Some parts of this language are derivatives of
the old application 'Welmat' and part of the Welmat code is still
contained within an XPR library called 'xprfts.library' already
publicly available.

  This is not a binary, and is intended to give people a bit of
information about what we are doing.  If you are interested, please
contact myself, or join the support conference (Currently we have
taken over the fidonet backbone conference 'WELMAT' since many of the
current beta testers are old Welmat users)

WPL_Intro.lzh is available for fidonet file request from
fidonet#1:1/139 and is updated nightly.
