-------------------------------------- mWhat A Wonderful World -------------------------------------- Swim or Sink Maybe the 42-year-old frenchman Guy Delage is going to be remembered as being just as crazy as another frenchman who, in 1912, died when he jumped out from the top of the Eifel Tower to prove that he could fly. Mr. Delage wants to be the first to swim across the Atlantic Ocean, more that 3900 kilometers. The trip starts between the 15th and the 20th December from Kap Verde and will hopefully end in the Antilles three months later. Two years ago Delage revealed his plan at a cocktail party in Paris. His friends thought that he was either drunk or had gone crazy but he was determined to try out his plan. His secret is a home-built, three-meter wide shell which will be guided by a sattelite to make sure that he is swimming the right way. "The Shell" is equipped with various radio-equipment to make sure that he can call for hellp or extra supplies on the way. Not everyone beileves in the project. Three years ago guy Delage tried to cross the same distance in a small plane made from cloth. After 27 hours of flying he had to make an emergency landing on the Sernanbo-island off the coast of Recife, and barely survived. -------------------------------------- Criminal Incognito BERLIN: A German court of law has sentenced an unknown to eight years in prison.
