Short: MPEG-Video-Player (+source) Author: Stefan Robl Uploader: Stefan Robl Version: 1.02 This MPEG-Video-Player is a rather fast player form animations and movies in the MPEG-Video or MPEG-System format. The program features a Intent-Window with Close-Gadget :) and at program end you will get a speed information (FPS-counter). Normally you have to give the player in the command line the filename of a MPEG video file. Since V1.02 opens a file requester if nothing is specified. !!! AmigaMPEGPlayer *requires* R. Collier's FileDialog !!! !!! (ave/avo/gdg/std/filedlg) !!! (you can get it from Amiga's FTP server) Please let me know if and how (speed results!) AmigaMPEGPlayer works on your machine. Thanks! ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- This program is based upon the work of Lawrence A. Rowe, Ketan Patel, Brian Smith, Steve Smoot, and Eugene Hung Computer Science Division-EECS, Univ. of Calif. at Berkeley in their project MPEG Video Software Decoder (Version 2.3; March 1996). ---------- ---------- ---------- ---------- History: 1.00: - First public release. 1.02: - Gfx-speedup of about 15% by using direct draw into the pixmap. Many thanks to Jarno van der Linden for this great idea!! - Added a file requester which asks for a (MPEG-)file if nothing was specified in the command line. - The executable in V1.00 was compiled for a wrong path, fixed. The Makefile now compiles the executable as AmigaMPEGPlayer/AmigaMPEGPlayer.00
