Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls Near the end of the movie, one of the 'bad guys' is sitting in front of a chess table with pieces on it. In the following scenes, the chess pieces have gone. Aladin At the end when they're flying around on the carpet, the moon changes from full to crescent in the same night. Apollo 13 When Lovell's daughter moans about the Beatles splitting up, she tosses the "Let It Be" Album into the rack. Apollo 13 occurs on April 13, 1970. "Let It Be" was not released until May 9. Back To The Future, Part III There is a canyon known as Clayton Ravine in the modern times because Clara Clayton (the school teacher) went down there and died when her horses were spooked. Also, before Marty goes back in time, he sees a gravestone of Doc's which says "With love, Clara." Then Marty goes back in time. Marty and the Doc then go out to the ravine to see where the time machine will go. Along comes Clara on her spooked horses, and is about to go over the ravine when the Doc saves her. If Marty had not gone back in time, Doc wouldn't have been there to save her and she would have died, hence the name "Clayton Canyon." This is fine until you look at the gravestone. How could Doc's gravestone said "Love Clara" if she had died going down the ravine? Basketball Diaries This movie was supposedly set in the late 60s or early 70s. Yet when Jim and friends steal a car, a Ford Tarus wagon is parked on the other side of the street, obviously not a car of that time. Beauty And The Beast According to Gaston, the book has no pictures, yet later on, the book clearly has pictures. Ben-Hur In the big charriot race, you can see the flash of a fast paced race car in the background (you have to watch carefully for this one). Beverly Hills Cop When the police are coverging on the estate at the end, two secutiry guards are watching the security monitors. When they leave the room, they are wearing gun holster around their shoulders, yet when they go down the stairs, they've gone. Amazingly enough, they have them again when they run towards the vehicle. Bladerunner Harrison Ford is told to hunt down six replicants. One was fried going through the electrical fence. Dekkard then hunts down four more: Leon, Zora, Pris and Roy. Where's the sixth? It isn't Rachel. Brady Bunch: The Movie When Cindy tells Greg that the family is going to have to sell the house, he is holding a guitar. The strap moves from over his collar to under it during the conversation. Braveheart In the first battle, one of the extras can be seen messing around with a sword as if he thought the camera's weren't rolling. During the last fight scene a guy falls over and he is wearing white boxer shorts under his kilt. In the last battle scene, the camera lens gets splattered with blood. Breakfast Club, The When Molly Ringwald's character demonstrates her talent of putting on listick, she puts the tube away, yet in the next shot, she's putting the lipstick away again. Broken Arrow When Terri puts the handcuffs on Riley Hail, she grabs his right hand and puts the handcuff on, yet when he kicks her and puts her in a headlock, the handcuffs have jumped on his left hand. Cannonball Run II Sammy Davis Jr. and Dean Martin are driving a red Chevy Corvette. When they pass Burt Reynolds and Dom Deluise's military limo, they are driving a red Dodge Daytona. When the "two hoods" are trying to kidnap Jamie Farr (the Arab), they clip his Rolls Royce. The shot of the two cars shows the Rolls as a Volvo of the same colour. Cape Fear In the auditorium, when Juliette Lewis meets Robert De Niro, they kiss. The way their heads are tilted switches from shot to shot. Clue As Wadsworth is detailing the events of the evening, you can see the boom mike make an appearance at the bottom of the screen. Commando The yellow porsche gets a huge dent on it. Yet after the car rolls and drives away the dent is no longer there. When Sail hits Matrix with the car at the mall he drops his wallet, yet amazingly enough, later on Matrix shows the little girl a picture of his daughter from it. When Arnie is holding Sail over the ledge you can see the wire around his ankle. Cutting Edge D. B. Sweeney is working on a construction project when the coach comes to recruit him as a figure skater. Sweeney is hammering a nail and it is almost in when the coach approaches him, yet when the camera cuts back to him, the position and length of nail out from the board has changed. Dances With Wolves There is one shot of the scenery which features a jet contrail in the frontier sky. Days Of Thunder When Cole (Tom Cruise) is walking with Rowdy Burns and his wife, the doctor and his wife call him Tom. Die Hard Bruce Willis starts off with a white tank top, yet later on it becomes an army green colour. After John McClain kills a bad guy and sends him down in the elevator strapped to a chair saying "Now I have the machine gun. Ho. Ho. Ho." If you watch the dead guy, his eyes blink. Die Hard II John McClain makes a telephone call from a Dulles International Airport (Washington, D.C.). The phone clearly states: Pacific Bell. Doors, The The scene where the witchwoman and Jim are in the shower before his performance, she calls him Val, his real name... Driving Miss Daisy In one scene a patrolman takes a drink from a Styrofoam cup. The movie, however, takes place before the era of Styrofoam. Enforcer, The During the rooftop chase scene, a camerman or production bod can be seen Field Of Dreams Joe Jackson bats right handed in the film, when he actually batted left handed in real life. First Night The very first scene is an overlook of the landscape where the movie takesplace. The scene with the windmill has a wonderful blue sky behind it. The next scene when the movie starts, the sky is grey and it looks like it's going to rain. Fish Called Wanda, A When Wanda enters Archie's office for the first time, at the end of the scene, the camera crew can be seen in the mirror! Forrest Gump The scene where Forrest gets discahrged from the army, the gym has a three point line which was not invented until much later (could someone verify this?). When Forrest meets Jenny at her apartment and learns about Little Forrest, there is an ironing board with iron in the background. In one shot it's standing up, in the next it's lying down. Fugitive, The When Dr. Kimble is in the bus as it is flipping over, he tosses his arms up over his head. He is supposd to be in shackles and handcuffs. Gone With The Wind There is a sequence that shows oranges from Israel, but Israel was not even formed when the film is meant to be set. When Mammy is dressing Scarlett for the Wilkes barbecue, you can see a wedding ring on Scarlett's finger, yet she is not married in this point of the film. Goodfellows The boom mike makes an appearance above their heads during a very important meeting. Goonies, The When Chunk drops the framed treasure map, they brush off the glass, yet in the next shot, the glass has returned. Halloween II Dr Loomis runs around and tells the cop that he shot Mike Myers 6 times. He continously tells him "I shot him 6 times," but if you count the number of times that he DID shoot Myers, it is 7 times! Not mention it is a six-shooter gun..... Hand That Rocks The Cradle, The In one scene the mother has a bib over her left shoulder, it switches to the right and back again over the course of the scene. Indiana Jones: Last Crusade When the guy in the white suit in one of the scenes shouts Indy's name, a fly goes into his mouth. Indiana Jones: Raiders Of The Lost Ark In the Well of Souls, Indiana Jones falls in front of the cobra, you can see the reflection of the snake on the glass between them. Also in the Well of Souls, as the ark is being carried towards the entrance, there is a heiroglyph of R2D2 and C-3PO on the walls in the background. Interview With A Vampire After Lestat's skin turns green, he gets into a fight. He spins round fast and his shirt lifts up revealing a decidedly ungreen back. Jade When David Carouso is chasing the black Thunder bird, his car jumps a hill. When it lands you can see the air bag inflate. Yet in the next scene, the air bag is gone. Jagged Edge In a court room scene, Glenn Close is wearing three different outfits. Jane Erye (Franco Zefferelli version) In the scene where Jane and the little girl are looking out over the garden at Mr Rochester, the glint of a car's roof is seen. Jurassic Park When the main characters are sitting at the lunch table, one of the waiters is not quite out of the shot and can be seen standing around waiting for his cue. There is a bit of awful dubbing when Ian Malcolm is explaining to John Hammond about the problems of bringing back extinct species. When Genero, Ian, John, Ellie and Grant are in the helicopter it is obvious that Genero and Ian are sitting next to each other. John and Ian are face to face next to a window. When they land and get out, the first people out are John and Genero, then Ellie who somehow managed to get seated beside Genero. When Dennis Nedry is talking to his contact down at the dock, he is looking at what appears to be a live video piped to his computer screen. Yet the 'live' video has a status bar at the top to indicate how far through the recording it is. After Dennis fouls up the computer systems, Mr. Arnold is trying desperately to get access. He types in 'access main program' while at the same time saying "access main security grid." What a wonderfully multi-talented chap he is! When Dennis Nedry gets his jeep stuck on a log, we get a glimpse of the roadsign that points in direction of the dock. After he slides down the hill, the sign is pointing in a another direction. During the scene where John Hammond and Ellie are sitting down to have ice cream, John says "they were all melting." Why were they melting? Did someone drag them all out of the freezer? After all, they hadn't even shut down the power yet. And even after the power is out, Timmy is clever enough to find a freezer with plenty of ice so he can lock a raptor. At the end of the movie when T. Rex chomps onto the first raptor, there is a single frame of animation where the raptor isn't even in the T. Rex's mouth. You have to watch it on slow-mo for this one. Kindergarten Cop Arnie's partner gets out of the car to throw up in a green field, when she first exits, there is no log on the ground by the car, yet when she comes back, she trips over one. Lawrence of Arabia This film is set during the First World War (1914-18), yet the Arab army attack the Turkish trains using Lewis Guns. These were not manufactured until the mid-1920s. Leaving Las Vegas In one scene, Nicholas Cage's level of drink goes up and down. Legends Of The Fall When Brad Pitt meets his brother and sister-in-law, Brad's wife is holding the baby. She then gives it to Julia Ormand. Yet in the next scene, Brad's wife holds the baby again. Lethal Weapon On the roof when Mel Gibson puts some handcuffs on a guy, they jump down. Right after they jump down you can see that the handcuffs suddenly disappear. Like Father, Like Son Dudley Moore calls in sick for the day and starts playing with a ball, the maid investigates and finds Dudley. Just before she speaks, you can see the reflection of a crew member in the picture frame to stage left of the doorway. Look Who's Talking At the beginning of the last scene, a hand can be seen holding Mickey on the newspaper machine. March or Die The French Foreign Legion in this film (set in 1918) use Lewis Guns which weren't manufactured until the mid-1920s Mary Poppins When they're cleaning up the playroom to merry tune "For A Spoonful Of Sugar," they make the beds. One has a comforter resting at the foot, but the actual bed is missing. Maverick In the scene where he is talking to his Indian friend, there is a large field in the background. In the distance of this field is a car driving by which is not supposed to be there. Much Ado About Nothing At the very end of the film when there is a lot of dancing, a plastic-keyed accordian is shown. Now And Then At the beginning, one of the girls says they haven't been home in 10 years. Yet later on, one of them says that she was there last year. Pee Wee's Big Adventure Pee Wee is pulling a never ending chain from his bike basket, yet if you look at the very bottom of the screen, you can see the chain being fed from a hole in the basket. When Pee Wee finds his bike behind the shrub/wall, the camera crew can be seen moving out the way. Plan 9 From Outer Space The whole film!!!!! Pretty Woman In the sex scene in Edward's penthouse, Vivian takes off Edward's tie, yet in the next shot, he's wearing it again. When Julia Roberts wakes up after the first night she is eating a piece of bread. When the shot returns to Julia, she's eating a pancake. Could someone please verify this. I've had several messages saying it's a croissant, a pancake, and other bread-based breakfast consumables. Pulp Fiction When Butch gets on the "Chopper" to leave the motel with Fabian, he puts his hands on the handlebar. The shot changes and then he puts his hands on again. In the opening scene when "Honey Bunny" jumps up she yells "...or I'll execute every last mother****ing one of you." When the film revisits the scene at the end she says "...or I'll execute every last one of you mother****ers." Just as Mia and Vincent arrive at Jack Rabbit slims, Mia tells Vincent not to be a "Square," only she makes the shape of a rectangle. Rapid Fire Brandon Lee gets scratches on one side of his face, yet when he wrecks the motorcycle, the scratches have moved to the other side. Reservoir Dogs When they're pounding the cop in the warehouse, his hands change from being in front of him to behind him. Nice Guy Eddie is seen to be breating heavily at the end even though he's supposed to be dead. Road Warrior, The After the door has been torn from the cab of the tanker truck near the end of the movie, the cameraman can be seen squatting beside Mel Gibsons character. Rocketeer, The The unit of currency used in 1930s Germany was the Reichmark, not the Deutchmark as stated in the film. Rocky IV Just before the Apollo Creed fight with Drago, Apollo has his boxing gloves on. Yet when he points at Drago saying "I want you, I want you," his boxing glove has come off. Rumble In The Bronx The handicapped boy plays with the Sega even though there's no cartidge in it!. Chan throws a guy into a Pepsi display in the store. When the guy lands you can tell all the cans are open and empty. Scent Of A Woman When Chris O'Donnell meets Al Pacino, the amount of wine in Pacino's glass fluctuates throughout the scene. Scrooge (Alistar Sim's Version) when Scrooge wakes up after the visit of the three spirits, he looks at himself in the mirror. Also in this mirror is the head of a man standing off the stage. Shadowlands The doctor says that Joy's left thigh bone was injured, yet it is clearly her right leg that's in bad shape. Speed When Keanu Reeves and Jeff Daniels go onto the roof to get the wire to support the elevator in the opening sequence, they make a sweep with their guns of the area. If you watch it on freeze-frame, you can see a third gun in the shot. When Keanu, Hopper and Daniels are in the elevator, Hopper tells them that he is going to go to the 1st floor, but fool the police into thinking he's going to the 3rd. When the sergeant notices the floors changing, they beep each time they go down. The numbers go 5 (beep), 4 (beep), then it cuts to the sargeant watching them and it beeps again. Yet when it goes back to the numbers, it goes 3 (beep). Why the extra beep? When Dennis Hopper is telling Jack to be back on the bus as soon as possible, watch for the really bad audio dubbing when he says "...but you better be back real fast..." As the camera shows the panoramic view of the broken bridge, you can see the shadow of a complete bridge on the ground. As the bus is getting to the freeway, it gets splashed with water. Yet amazingly enough, it's completely dry in the next shot. However about 20 seconds later it's wet again. If you watch the bus when it jumps of the highway, you'll see there's no one in it. Stand By Me In the campfire scene, you can see the boom mike above their heads. Star Trek: The Motion Picture When Kirk leaves the Enterprise in a spacesuit to try and stop Spock from entering V'Ger, we see Kirk leave the Enterprise and you can see the scaffolding hold the set up! Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Uhura's name is spelt as "Uhuru" in the closing credits! Star Wars In the scene where Luke and Owen Lars buy the red R2 unit instead of R2D2, the red R2 unit rolls forward and blows its motivator. When the camera cuts to R2D2, the red R2 unit is still standing beside him. When R2D2 is in the Jawa Land Cruiser, you can see Kenny Baker's face in the 'glass eye' on R2D2's head. After Luke gives C-3PO his bath, C-3PO is holding a brown rag, during the next sequence of shots, he mystersiously loses it and then gets it back again. Just after the Stromtroopers have broken into the control room on the Death Star, the Stromtrooper on the right bangs his head. When the Rebels are getting ready to go on their mission, a guy wearing a cut-off T-shirt can be seen wandering around. After Luke returns from destroying the Death Star, yells out 'Carrie' at Princess Leia (very famous one this). Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back When Chewie rescues Threepio from the furnace room on Bespin, the camera crew can be seen reflected in Threepio's head. Stripes In a scene between Bill Murray and Harold Ramis, Bill's head is supported by a duffle bag in one shot and then it disappears in the next. Superman When Jor-el puts Superman in his capsule, you can see Marlon Brando's Rolex on his wrist. Terminator 2:Judgment Day When Arnie steals the motorcycle and shotgun, you see him take his hand off the gun twice. When the semi goes off the freeway and crashes down, the windshield breaks, yet in the next scene, it's only cracked. During the helicopter chase scene, the T-1000 has a hand reaching around him controlling the craft. Ten Commandments, The During the interminable exodus from Egypt sequence, someone is still wearing their Rolex watch. Three Men And A Baby In the background during a scene in the apartment, you can see an out-of-focus teenager in black staring at the camera. From what I can gather, originally this guy wasn't there when they were filming the movie, yet appeared on this finished film. It has been suggested that this 'extra' was the ghost of a guy who was killed in the apartment that the set is based on. It definitely is very spooky. However, it has since been claimed that it is a cardboard cut out of Ted Danson. Who knows? There is a scene where some props can be seen through a window. Twister The story is supposed to take place in Oklahoma, yet all the roadsigns say Texas! During the opening scene, the helicopter that is filming is reflected in the trucks windshield. They are on a deserted road beacause there are three twisters coming. When they show the man driving you can see a car go by behind them. During the "jumping" tornado, a phone pole crashes across the bed of the truck. A short while later the truck is untouched. During one of the climatic scenes where they are on the road, lots of farm equipment flies around. A truck gets its windshield blown out, yet later on it has repaired itself. When they are all in the oil shelter, they are all looking for something to tie themselves down with. It shows Helen Hunt strapped to the bar and then the actor straps her down with a belt. She was already strapped in. Untouchables, The When Ness is at Sean Connery's house trying to convince him to join the team, Sean's shirt is open, in the next, its buttoned up to his neck. Up Close And Personal When Michelle Pfieffer in interviewing in the jail, and violence breaks out, Robert Redford is watching from a van outside via her cameraman. Redford sees the cameraman fall down, but he couldn't because there is only one camera in the jail. Wayne's World When Wayne and his friends beam the music video to the record producers, Garth is seen in the basement with sun streaming through the window, yet the record producer's window shows that it's dark outside. While You Were Sleeping When Jack is in Peter's apartment, his shirt is tucked in, yet a few seconds later in the parking garage, the shirt tails are flying. Wizard Of Oz, The Due to different takes and editting, Judy Garland's pony-tails change lengths as she walks "down the yellow brick road" to meet the scarecrow. When the Tin Man is dancing by the house you can see a guy standing in the background. Young Guns The 6 guys get drunk and when they awake, Steve gets on his horse and says, "Hey dog, did you see the size of that chicken!" Then he shoots his gun, scaring the horse. At the same time he shoots it, look at the bottom right of the screen and you will see a crew member's hand letting go of the horse.
