--------------- XENOPHOBE notes --------------- 0) General: =========== Xenophobe comes on two boards: Sound daughterboard: - This is probably a descendant of the "Cheep Squeek Deluxe" board used in Spy Hunter. It is probably used in other Bally games from the 1986-1988 era. Huge CPU board: - Really huge. The ROMs on Xenophobe are all 28-pin chips, but since the board supports 32-pin ROM sockets, it's fairly safe to assume that this board was used in other Bally games from the same era as well. Despite the physical similarities in game play and control panel, it *CANNOT* be converted to play Rampage; Rampage uses a Z80 and Xenophobe uses a 68000. 1) Sound board: =============== The "SOUNDS GOOD" daughterboard has four 27512 EPROMs on it.
